Urban Corner is a small spot in 5 pts that deserves more attention. The menu is pretty straight forward, spring rolls, pho, curry, chef specials, bahn mi. Our personal favorite is the pho (large $9) and pork bahn mi ($4). The flavors are perfect and you can't beat the price. The service can be a little slow, there is only one guy, but he does a satisfactory job and has a helpful demeanor.
If you find yourself waiting in line at one of the other overcrowded 5 pts spots, take a walk over, you will be pleasantly surprised.
We ordered the Shaking Beef and Spicy Pork meals. Both were awesome (especially the Shaking Beef). The meat was well marinated and very tender. It was cooked perfectly. The jasmine rice was cooked properly and had some tasty green onion on top.
We also ordered a lychee bubble tea and spring rolls. The bubble tea was the standard flavored slushy type that is available everywhere. Some of the bubbles weren't fully cooked. The spring rolls themselves were pretty good, but the sauce was a little meh to me. Very sweet.
We drove through Jacksonville on a trip and needed a quick meal. We ended up here after Hawker's had a 40 min wait to be seated. I'm glad we made the stop!
I love the fresh atmosphere here! The Rice Vermicelli with the pork and egg rolls is like tasting a little bit of heaven. And for only 8.95! The water tastes amazing (Yeah, I know that's a small detail, but I can never find good tasting water), the restaurant itself is impeccably clean, and the servers are super sweet. I would much rather put my support behind this restaurant than the place next door. Check it out!
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. After she found it was our first time there, our server spent several minutes on an entertaining and informative description of every page of the menu. She also helped us with vegan and vegetarian choices. Everything was delicious. I had the pho and some coffee with condensed milk. Others in my group had the rice vermicelli. It was all very good and quite filling. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, light orchestral music in the background. I would definitely recommend this place to any who like Asian food, especially pho.
Wow. I haven't had a good bowl of Pho or a good Banh Mi since I left my California roots behind. And don't get me started on the mango lemonade. It tastes so fresh! We will definitely frequent this place it's reasonably priced and exactly what we've been missing since we left home❤️
It is incomprehensible to me that this place isn't busier. The food is amazing, and the prices are unbeatable. As far as I know, they have the most authentic banh mi in town, and it's only $4. I've explored the majority of their menu now, and have been impressed with every single dish so far.

It's awesome that a traditional vietnamese restaurant is so close within 5 points riverside area. Cool interior. Server provided great entree recommendations. Pho was delicious, along with other entrees (particularly pork). Food came out quick.
Also one of the few places with a TV for football showing on a sunday within the 5 points area
The service was good. The prices are reasonable. We sat at one of the two hot pot tables in the back. The hot pot was delicious and great for sharing with friends. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
Very yummy new spot. This is where Tapa That used to be, right next to Deep Search Records. Nice relaxed interior, if a little bare, but good, fresh staples. The pho is delicious and the banh mi is very delicious. Happy to have this in 5 points.
I ordered a chicken kabob appetizer and a noodle soup. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The kabob was grilled to perfection. A perfect place to eat mpdern asion.
