Mochi

This place is so cute, I love the layout and lighting. Highly recommend for hang outs or a quick bite! The workers there are very kind and helpful, wont forget this one kid with a long earring , glasses, tall and looked Filipino. Great energy from this place! Just maybe more stocks and flavors, busy so get there early!!

Wow, just awesome. Their store on Beach is actually even bigger and better, but they did not have a Google+ page for me to leave a review. Mochi in general has the best yogurt flavors and the most fresh toppings you'll find. HIGHLY recommended!

Forced here by loving wife to collect mochi on a regular basis... Never regretted getting a few extra for myself on the ride home. I only wish they would up the scale of these things to the size of a scoop of ice cream... I have to eat 10 now just to get the same fix i used to get from just 1. Delicious, friendly ataff. Nice clean place. Worth a visit.

Mochi at the Town Center is connected to Bento, and on Monday's you get $1 off your Mochi purchase with your Bento receipt. There is also a Mochi off Beach Blvd/Hodges Blvd, but they are not the same owners yet the same product/concept. And! I honestly prefer the one off Hodges due to a larger selection of flavors and some of the "better" flavors. Seven years ago, this Mochi at Town Center had flavors which did not rotate out (e.g. Taro and Coconilla). Cake Batter was one of the best! However, over the last 3-4 years the flavors at this location have been hit or miss as far as what my tastebuds would like. Before Coconilla was a sure thing but maybe there would be Cake Batter or Red Velvet, but Coconilla is not a consistent flavor. This particular day I opted for Taro, one which I hated 7 years ago but have decided to give a whirl as there was nothing else I fancied. Taro comes from the Taro Root and is purple in color and its taste, for this particular mochi, can be described as a sweet-tart. Do know, mochi isn't frozen yogurt but a pastey-rice cake formed into a ball and, here in the States, filled with frozen yogurt or the likes. This location is clean and aesthetically pleasing, generally with a kid-friendly movie playing above their service counter and tunes from one of the worker's iTunes. After you taste test a few with free sample cups (ask at the counter), you can then choose whichever one or two or even three yogurts you want! They have started adding options such as sorbet and gelato. The toppings are self-serve, such as candy and fruit, and on this particular visit the fruit was low in quantity and low in quality. I didn't want to waste my taste buds on under-ripened strawberries or kiwi. Just like so many other FroYo places around, you weigh your cup to calculate your price. And then enjoy!

I love this place, sometimes I drive 45min to the town center just to get the snow bowls here. You can get froyo antwhere, but not the snow bowls which are like american Patbingsu. So if you're here you should definetly get one. A small is still great for sharing with a friend, I ussually eat it by myself though.
