Been here twice so far and both times were great experiences. We went late (after 9) both times. Pad Thai does have strange smell as mentioned in some reviews, but I haven't had problems with missing ingredients, and it tastes great. Super friendly, great service. Our glasses never got below half empty.
By far the best Thai Restaurant I have ever been to. The authentic and elegant decor along with the delicious and substantial menu, takes you straight to Thailand. I recently went to the Baymeadows location of Tuptim Thai with a few friends for dinner, and we were all very impressed with both the service and our meals. My chicken Pad Thai was the perfect combination of tangy, spicy, and sweet, made with quality ingredients. Everyone else who accompanied me thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. I will definitely be returning to Tuptim Thai soon!
I had the calamari, which was cooked to perfection. Very tender and I was easily able to cut it with my fork. I also had the green curry with beef, which was amazing! And my waiter guided on the spice level for my dinner and he was point on, my dish had just enough heat but not over powering. If I lived in Jacksonville this would be my go to Thai resturant!
Spent many of study groups here sipping on strong Thai Coffees (think Vietnamese Iced coffee). The Crab Rangoons are delightful and explode with flavor (it is stuffed with creamy, yellow curry). The chicken rice soup is good, but a bit heavy on the cilantro (I usually ask for no cilantro). I prefer the beef with brown sauce combo when I come here. This is a great place with a great selection of dishes, including vegetarian dishes and some meals without peanuts (you heard me right, one of my classmates is a regular here because of her wheat and peanut allergies). All-in-all, great place and the owner is kind, too. I always try to bring visiting friends and family here whenever possible. o7
The chicken pad Thai is awesome. Probably the best I've had. I also tried the sticky rice with mango for dessert and it was great as well. Really great food for a great price especially if you make it in time for the lunch specials.
I don't review often enough.. but this was worth it. The service was very warm and nice. The food was delicious. We had the scallops fried rice and the chicken red curry. Booth excellent. We will return

LOVE their lunch. Haven't gone for dinner yet, but I expect it's the same great food maybe just bigger portions... which by the way, are already pretty huge. They also get an A+ for presentation. Step in to Tuptim Thai and be greeted by a warm 'Sawadee-ka' as one of the friendly staff takes you to your table. Decor was of carved rosewood and rich silk tablecloths that gives one a feel of being somewhere near the orient.
Menu has an ample selection of traditional items. I love the heart shaped Rice on the plate. From the moment you walk-in you are impressed with the authentic Thai carvings and silk. The flower displays and the carved produce is magnificient. The servers are friendly, clean and very knowledgable. Party of 6 for lunch. We eat Thai every where we go. Traveling thru Jax. Excellent meal. One of the best Thai. Portion very generous considering Thai & not take out Chinese. My daughter always order Pad Thai & said this was the best because of sauce & quality chicken meat. My other daughter ordered the Green Curry, something she always get. It was the best - just spicey enough, not too much coconut milk, fresh vegetables with both reg eggplant & Thai eggplant, quality Jasmine rice, again quality meat. Pineapple fried rice was very unique. My other daughter scraped every bites of the plate. Very authentic. Love it. We also have eaten at the Tuptim Thai in Brunswick, also owned by same family.
First off, they are open sundays. Yelp has the correct hours. As to the food, it was pretty good. Decent price for the food. I like their "amazing" curry. We'll likely come back again.
The food was fresh with scintillating flavors. We got here 1/2 hour before they closed and the waitstaff was (still) very gracious and happy we came...and stayed open especially for us. Highly recommended!
Happy, happy, joy, joy! We just relocated with my company from San Diego and have been craving decent Thai food. We found it! Had the Pad See Ew and it was delish. We will go back...probably next week.
