This is our go to pizza place in all of Southside. Sky, the owner, runs the place essentially on his own but his love for making pizza and making high quality pizza brings us back time and time again.
If you call him in advance and he’s not over loaded he can get an XL pizza ready for pickup within 15 minutes.
The many times we’ve eaten here we’ve never had a single complaint with the food. Whether it’s a pizza, meatball sub, fried mushrooms or Greek salad they all are increíble.
The pizza is absolutely worth the price!
We had a very stressful day but when we got ready for dinner at 10:00 pm, we called Shiraz because of the high rating on urban spoon. I asked when they close and (I'm guessing) the owner said, "we are closed but I'll take care of you, will this be for delivery or pick up?" Long story shorter: he delivered one if the BEST pizzas we've ever had to our hotel! Thanks! We are going to have to go in and try something else tomorrow or Saturday!
Loved it! The owner honestly cares which is rare these days. Looking forward to trying the pizza next. Enjoyed the chicken parm and my husband was happy with his chicken Alfredo. We will be back!
Outstanding chicken pesto pizza and shrimp primavera! Very friendly and personable. Only negative is their complete absence of quality beer. Yep, I'm a beer snob. Other than that, great place!

Found this place on urban spoon. We were visiting from Atlanta. Pizza was great. Had the deluxe and barbecue chicken pizzas. Barbecue chicken pizza particularly, was fantastic. My daughter had wings with no sauce and they were perfectly crispy. Highly recommended.
Great Pizza; Friendly Family Place. I'm glad I found this place through UrbanSpoon. The service was great, the pizza was crispy and good - and we also got some baked lasagna. Even when we took some home, they offered to box up for us.
This is best pizza place in Jax I have been to. Its not super fancy -- but just a normal "family pizza place".
This place is so overlooked.GREAT pizza and calzones. Reminds me of NY pizza. Clean place and attentive staff. So happy is close to my house.

Stopped here to get a bite. For starters, their pizza is amazing. Perfect texture and flavor. Crispy but soft. And the prices were great! Their menu is large, so there's something for everyone. I can't wait to go back and try some more of their food! Also the garlic knots were great too.

wanted something local and just stopped in. pizza is phenomenal. i don’t know what style but it’s flavorful and amazing. was so good, had to go back next day. did not last long around kids or grown ups..
Service was great. My son and I were the only ones there and it was pretty awesome. Love finding family owned joints like this. Kept it simple with a large pepperoni and house salad. Pizza was fantastic, one of, if not the best in the area. My boy gas already said he wants to go back. As in, this week. That's high praise from a definite pizza aficionado. I'm with him, I'm already ready to go back.
Great mom and pop place with great freshly prepared food. The owner was nice and the environment is chill.

Best pizza in Jacksonville and that’s for sure. The owner has always been nice with us and always make sure we’re pleased with the service and the food. My family has been their client for 3 years now and planning on keep eating pizza and pasta here. You must try the white sauce pizza with spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms. If you’re interested in pasta, get the specialty pasta. You’ll thank me later.
It was amazing pizza! My friend and I are visiting from Pensacola area and wanted some non-chain pizza delivered so we tried Shiraz. We ordered a Deluxe and a Shiraz Speciality, both large. They are huge! I loved the crust, chewy but not thick. And, I loved that there wasn't a thick layer of pizza sauce. You can really taste the tomatoes. Also, the delivery was prompt and the delivery man was very pleasant.
Recently new to the area and came across this pizza place, the owner here is absolutely amazing. I totally recommend trying this out, you wont regret it. The jalapeno popper's, the mozzarella sticks and the pizza is the best. So fresh and made with kindness. SUPPORT small businesses, we are all in this together and Shiraz makes pizza night that mush better!!
From the moment the owner welcomes you it just feel like family. Their pizza is the best! Always fresh quality ingredients. We love their NY style pizza and he makes it nice and crunchy. Great product and great customer service!
