Food was very good. A lot better than what I thought. I had the shrimp lo mein and the vegetable fried rice. My boyfriend had the general tso's combo. Portions were more than I expected. Even the sweet tea was good. It was very very yummy. It filled our tummies to the max.
Prompt service. Good food. Building is rather "dated" and could use some attention. Value of food for price is good.
Best Chinese food in Jacksonville
Good food, nice owner. I've known Chan for about 23 years, and he's a very nice person. As for his restaurant, he has good food. The Firecracker Shrimp/Chicken, are good dishes. The Ginger Chicken is good (Tempura battered white meat chicken with a ginger sauce). There are other good dishes, so there's a good chance you'll discover your favorite(s). When I'm in the riverside area, and craving Chinese food, I stop by there by default.
Good Chinese fast food for cheap!. The best and cheapest Chinese fast food in town. I love their many wing choices that they offer, the basil wings are my favorite. I usually get the teriyaki chicken off of the daily special board for about $4. It's the best item for the price. I've recently tried their house chicken which is a half chicken and your choice of white or fried rice. It was moist, had great flavor and a crispy skin. I will definitely keep going back to Panda House.

Impressed. I have been searching for good chinese food in Jacksonville since I moved here two years ago. To date, I hadn't found anything worth going back to until now. I tried out Panda House on Post Rd for the first time yesterday after reviewing other peoples comments on their food, and I wasn't disappointed. The rice was very close in taste to most of the Japanese Hibache grills in town, and nothing like the other 80 generic Chinese food places around here with yellow rice. I had the Bourban chicken which had great flavor. My boyfriend had the Lemon chicken, which was similar to sweet and sour chicken, but with a lemon sauce on the side for dipping that had a very fresh taste. We noticed when leaving that there is a drive thru window which seems very convenient. Though the look of the place wasn't at all amazing and the lady taking orders didn't seem all too nice, I recommend take out and just enjoying it at your home. For anyone who isn't from this area and is used to good chinese food and not the generic "wok's" that are everywhere, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good Food, Fast and Inexpensive!. Panda House is dishing up good, hot, healthy portions of Chinese dishes - for a bargain price! Fast, friendly and oh, so convenient - in a hurry? Drive Through! We do, about once a week! WE LOVE YOU PANDA HOUSE! Great neighborhood standard hang.

Can't wait to try it again!. I've only been once so far & have to say that the sweet & sour chicken was awesome as well as the sweet tea. Good prices & large portions, not open on Sunday though.
I LOVE this place! They know me when I order the "world famous Bourbon Chicken" it's a lovely woman who works the drive thru for years and is the sweetest lady I ever met. For 10.50 you have two full meals! The portions are huge, like the taste!
I add my own Jalapenos, they don't come with it, but they have garlic and chili sauce to add that spicy flavor if you ask for it. Two people could easily share one dish! THE BEST ASIAN TAKE OUT IN JACKSONVILLE I'VE EVER HAD, HANDS DOWN!......Plus, the people are very kind. A++++++ Don't miss this gem in Riverside.

My visit was great I was a little skeptical of going there, I use to eat there over twenty plus years ago and it was great. The food was very HOT!!, was very plentyful, the cost was reasonable, the service was great friendly and respectful, I didn't have to guess at the chicken!! the meats were real authentic quality! AND I didn't have to wait long. The only downfall for my visit, It looks very spooky all around the building, please put up happy signs, lights, or brighter paint. All in all I give them an 8 plus. Thank you for the experience.
LISTEN!!!!!!! So I was kind of skeptical about this place because you hardly see anyone around here. I'm glad I took a chance around lunch time. The food was extra fresh and hot. I tried the Hunan chicken (spicy) and when I say .a person who can handle spice I truly enjoyed this dish. This dish gave me a run for my money and I enjoyed every bit of it. I will be back for another update on another dish.
This place is drive-thru only. Which is fine, but a little annoying when the actual deive-thru is so rough and tumble. It does, however, make up for that with the food. Really tasty, hot, and really good portion sizes. It can be hit or miss though, because I've had the best meal of my life here, and then a totally average meal. Really nice customer service though, and I'd say go check it out!

It's an okay go-to stop to get a quick bite if you're feeling Chinese food. I got the orange chicken, fried wings, and wonton soup. All orders were hot and and I didn't really have to wait long for them. As a orange chicken connoisseur, the chicken was pretty decent. It had a semi thick layer of crunchy breading which was also served with fried rice to the side. One thing you'll need to know is that they only do drive thru so that's why the place looks kind of abandoned. Not my favorite place but good if you're on a budget. I spent 10-15 on everything so it's not that bad.
The soup here is absolutely amazing!! Personal fav. is the 50/50 wonton & egg drop soup. The chicken dishes I ordered were fatty and overcooked. I will return, for soup only though!
I came here one time and got the shrimp fried rice and it was the best I have had in Jacksonville!!! So good I had to leave a review it’s kind of pricey but worth every penny
Love the fried rice with extra veggies. Always fresh and great reheated!
