This place is amazing. I have to stop everything I visit Florida.
I'm not from Jacksonville, so I Googled and reviewed the reviews on a few breakfast spots before choosing this one. I am glad that I picked this place! I came in as a party of five on a Tuesday morning. We waited for less than 10 mins and were seated. The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Our waiter's name was Bernard, and he was super friendly, smiled the whole time, very upbeat, and he made sure we were all very taken care of! I gave four stars for the food because the food was not as hot as I prefer my food to be. It was lukewarm, and I had to send my daughter's sunny side eggs back because the yolk was not hot at all. Even after getting the eggs a 2nd time around, the eggs were still not as hot as I felt they should've been to be cooked. Despite the temperature of the food, our stuffed French toast was delicious! Overall, the service and atmosphere were impeccable. I would definitely come back again.
First time visit. Went on a Sunday morning so there was a little wait, but not a big deal. Bernard was our waiter and he was great! Very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. Short stack of chocolate chip pancakes and the ham and cheese omelet with home fries and a side of bacon. If we lived here, we would be frequent guests.
My man and I came here for my birthday breakfast. The mimosas were delicious, the food was hot and came out in a timely manner. I ordered the stuffed French toast which was amazing. I also ordered their home fries and eggs. The eggs were really good the home fries were harder than I’d like but the flavor was still on point. Lastly, our waiter was great. I wish I could remember his name but he was a short, red haired fellow with glasses. He was kind, checked on us, and made sure we had everything we needed as well as helped us navigate the menu. He truly made my birthday breakfast enjoyable in every way. We will definitely be back when we’re back in town!
My first time going and everything was great. Service, food, cleanliness of the restaurant. Definitely adding to my list of favorite brunch spots.
Stopped in on a Sunday morning for breakfast on our way out of town. Upon entering, we noticed that there were benches that lined the way outside of the restaurant. That generally means there's a good chance that this restaurant gets packed. Thankfully, we got there early, so there was no wait. Our server quickly took our order and brought out our drinks. Unfortunately, they don't serve grits here, but the pancakes were HUGE and delicious. They did breakfast well, for the most part. I don't know if this is a must try, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.
The food at this place was delicious and the service was awesome. I will be coming back here in the future. Also let me just say that the restaurant itself is clean and spotless.
Nice menu. Friendly service. Good verity and selection. Tasty food. Potatoes were on the cool side temperature wise. Otherwise a good visit.
Food was great and fast service. The waffles were rich and flavorful. Had the Eggs Florentine and the ingredients were very fresh. The home fries were more like roasted red potatoes, but they were still nice and tender. Our server Ashley was very kind and attentive.
Wonderful food and staff, busy restaurant, but our server made us feel like we were her only table, and we had a great conversation with her
The waitress was on point with customer service skills the atmosphere and ambiance was an experience in itself..Music was a nice touch..the coffee and food was delicious! Will be coming back for sure!
