We went on a Sunday evening around 7 and it wasn't busy at all. It's a small, intimate restaurant. We had great fast service and really enjoyed our waiter, he was super friendly and accommodating. The pho was really good and more flavorful than most. The ingredients were definitely fresh. For how much good food we got, the prices were awesome. I would definitely go back and suggest it to others.
It is well know how Asian is my favorite food choice, and lucky for me and many other Jacksonville has it’s share of some very good to excellent restaurants. When a friend called and ask if I wanted to try A Bit of Saigon it was a no brainer. Let’s go! The restaurant has been at this location for a while but I have never visited. Situated in a small shopping strip it was a little difficult to spot, but we found it the second time around.
Rah food was some of the most fresh I have had down in JAX. The spring rolls are amazing! The peanut sauce they bring out for them really sets them off. I quite enjoyed their pho! I can already tell I'll be craving it in the future.
Super delicious and always fresh! Everything is made from scratch. Authentic Asian flavors! The pho is full of flavor and not salty like some other places. The lemongrass beef noodle salad is also amazing. My newest fave dish there is a crepe filled with beef, shrimp and veggies. It's so crisp and delicate. It's an amazing texture, too.
Customer service is always fantastic. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.
Love it. The food is very fresh. Customer service is pleasant. It appears to be a family owned restaurant. Best Vietnamese food in the area.
Great place. Good food and prices. Authentic & family owned, my kind of place.
Fresh, delicious, and friendly!. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is so fresh and everything is amazing! The owner grows most of the ingredients in his own garden! Everything is at a great price and good portion sizes! I always get a to go box for my left over pho no matter how hungry I am!
Brand new! And Delicious! That’s what A Bit of Saigon is. Vietnamese cuisine – simple yet sophisticated. Today is the Grand Opening but we were invited to a soft opening last night. It is owned by 2 brothers and a son. They served a Beef Pho Dish that was sensational. I have never had pho before but have been interested in trying it.
Service was friendly and quick. Simple decor with peaceful ambiance music. Simply yummy homemade Vietnamese food. I give 3/5 for the food though because, while it was authentic, I prefer pho broth a little more savory than how this restaurant prepares it. The fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were good value. The man was very friendly also. We went for a late lunch and it was not busy, so we were sat immediately.
My friend and I were in town for business and decided to try this place out and glad we did. I am into the hole in the wall places and this fit the bill, it is in a little strip mall with basic decorations and no frills atmosphere. The waiter wasn't and overly friendly gent but he answered all of our questions and even showed a little sense of humor when my appetizer came out. I got the crepe as an appetizer and when it came out I was shocked how big it was. The flavors all matched so well and the fresh Thai basil that came with added such a fresh touch. For my main course I ordered the Grilled beef spare ribs. the marinade wasn't overly strong but the grill char added that little extra that made the flavors pop. My friend got the Charbroiled pork shoulder and he really enjoyed that as well. I thought the prices were less than other Asian places that I have been to. We will definitely be back.
I’ve been coming here for years! The food is always on point and the owner is so nice! He’s always willing to explain each dish and tries to be as accommodating as possible.
Fantastic service. Probably the best pho I’ve ever had. The ribs were so tasty and the crepe was amazing. Great hole in the wall. Will definitely come back.
Most likely the best Pho in Jacksonville, actually best in an even larger area than that. Actually this is some very very good soup for 9$! I don’t mind the dirty washroom, just serve more of this soup and I’ll be back. Don’t come here for that, just come and have their Pho. Meat quality is good. Broth perfectly balanced and not too thick or salty but extremely savory tasting. Served hot and within minutes of ordering. Noodles perfect type, amount and taste. Greens were fresh and tasted surprisingly good for bean sprouts. Attentive staff in all phases of dining. They only have one bowl size though and I was close to ordering seconds. However for 9$ this is ridiculously good Pho, and I highly recommend you to try this place if you love this dish. Without a doubt on my personal top 5 pho places worldwide.
Absolute best pho and vermicelli I have ever had!! Alex always treats us like royalty and I love that they have true veggie pho for my vegan girlfriend. This is our meal spot at least 3 times a week and we’ve never been disappointed
Family visiting from out of town and they were craving Vietnamese cuisine, and A Bit of Saigon came highly recommended. Couldn't agree more. I suggest the Duck Vermicelli Noodle Soup if you can't decide 😋
Tucked away behind the Publix at beach an kernan is an amazing pho place. It is one of the cleanest Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to in Jacksonville, usually that means that the pho isn’t as good but that’s not true for this place. It’s probably the best pho I have had in a long time. The rare steak actually arrived rare and not cooked like most places do it, the flavors were rich and delicious. The menu is limited but everything that is on there is lovingly made and delicious. Try the fried egg rolls if you stop by they are to die for, crispy and delicious. And the fish sauce Oh.My.God.
This is by far the best Pho in Jacksonville. The service is great and the food delicious. The place always has great ambiance and food always comes out fast.
Some of the best pho in town. I eat here as often as I can. The beef noodle soup is my go to and it’s definitely the most flavorful of all the places I’ve been (and I’ve been to them all). I think it’s the type of lemongrass they use for the broth? I could be wrong but it definitely tastes different (read: better) than everywhere else.
