This is the best restaurant in Riverside, but it feels like a well-kept secret! Like a reverse-speakeasy, you go past rows of liquor and wine to an area in the back with some tables. Past that and to the right, you find a hidden bar! This whole place is cute and low-key, but the food is the best I’ve had since moving to Jacksonville 1 year ago! My fiancé and I love coming here as a special treat. The menu is pricier, but definitely not as expensive as far less delicious places in the area! I don’t really want anyone to go here because it feels like being in a quaint old place that’s only for locals, but also this restaurant deserves all of the stars.
Such a awesome hidden gem. Delish food & some wines are very affordable with no corkage fees! Great service,comfortable space. I will be back!!

My siblings and I took my mom here for Mother's Day. It was amazing! We enjoyed the food and drinks. The wine didn't tasted rich and smooth. This was nothing like Winn dixie or publix wines. The waitress Michelle was nice and timid. Dan was very helpful at picking the right wines for us to try. Anything we asked he took care of it.This is our first time and will not be our last. Also, covid friendly. There was enough space between other tables and social distance was apparent. Beautiful restaurant! We will go again. Please check out the delicious food we tried. There is more wine selections. I was sitting next to this one.
Excellent drinks and food. Staff was nice and welcoming. One star removed because food is expensive for a small amount.
Ah-mazing and a true hidden gem! I forgot to photograph everything we ate...we sampled several fancy bourbons and ate it all! Fabulous date night! Buy it, drink it, eat here! Photographed here is the blackened halibut and chorizo stuffed dates 😋
Love the more private/intimate environment here. The Empress was fabulous. The menu had couple great bites. I think the charcuterie is supplied by Grater Goods, a Murray Hill favorite of mine! Easy enough to order gluten free, harder to order veggie/vegan.
Oh my goodness! What can I say...other than AMAZING! Our server was Christina and she was phenomenal! Great customer services and very understanding since we had a large party. Our food came out hot and the flavors were simply wonderful! I will definitely return and grab some food. Oh and the drinks were made RIGHT!
More than meets the eye when you see liquor store! Bar, restaurant, and liquor store. Went for the champagne tasting, very informative and delicious hors d’oeuvres. Will be returning soon.
The liquor store has a great selection and staff is so knowledgeable! And the restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is delicious, chef is amazing and there are always creative food and dessert specials! I’ve been in a few times and food and drinks are always on point. The servers and bartenders are professional and quickly make you feel like family, all around a great vibe
