I have had cupcakes and cake made by Motion Sweets and today I tasted my first ever macaron. *sigh* Basically heaven for the mouth. Everything there is super good and the owner is so personable, helpful and friendly. I recommend Motion Sweets to everyone!
THE best pecan tart, we’ve ever had in our lives, and we got it two days ago...seriously, wow. Their Macaroons are pretty darn good too.
Now listen when I tell you that Motion Sweets has got it right over there in Five Points! They had some of the most unique flavors with Chicken & Waffles being the flavor that caught our eye. If you're anything like me, you're probably thinking "but how???" Let me tell you! It was like I had a plate of Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in front of me! You could taste every element of chicken and waffles in that macaron and it was amazing!
Went here on a whim with my teen daughter and her friends after a visit to the Cummer Museum. We had two of the cupcake flavors- Oreo and salted caramel. The Oreo was very good, but the cupcake was a little undercooked I think. The flavor was excellent. We all really liked the salted caramel the best. The cake had a Twinkie like flavor and the cake was moist and dense. The frosting was a surprise- it looked heavy but was whipped and lovely. The counter person was polite and patient, and helped us choose our treats. I would suggest that they dial down the food coloring in their frostings as I found the green and yellow frosting on some of the other cupcakes to be unappetizing. This is a must stop in 5 points!
Black owned, so support support support!! Friendly staff. Easy to find. Great taste. Unique flavors. Nice and clean. Try the white chocolate cookies... so good. Also the pound cake cheesecake was amazing. The peach cobbler bread pudding was good, I just like my peaches soft. I got 3 cookies, 1 cheesecake, and peach cobbler bread pudding and it totaled $36. I went right before closing and was able to get some goodies.
This is my new favorite bakery!!! I fell through after seeing their Instagram. It was great. I bought a bunch is stuff, to have a great sample size. Not only were the desserts great, but the services was wonderful. She was patient as a worked through the offerings (even with my wife via video conference.) I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
If you haven't been here, definitely go! The macarons and bananas foster bread pudding were delicious. Very friendly and relaxed environment.

This baker mad our wedding reception amazing. They made Vegan and cow dairy free cupcakes and cake. Everyone Raved on how light, Moist, and Perfect sweet the cake and cupcakes were. Highly recommend them for any event.

I gladly added a few extra inches to my hips after eating their pound cake and chocolate chip pecan cookies. Actually, I'm looking forward to my next visit. Excellent customer service and the cake was light and moist. This bakery should be on everyone's gotta try it list!
This pastries from here were delicious. We went in to order a cake for my mom's bday and had to try something before leaving. Happy I did!
My other half is obsessed with macaroons. We have tried all over. Motion Sweets is hands down the BEST we have had so far!!! We were lucky enough to be in town on a sat to enjoy these. Next time im getting a bunch more!!
The flavors change daily. They offer gluten-free macaroon options as well! Other sweet treat options round out the menu. I must add if u purchase 3 macaroons you get a 4th one for free!!!
