We were with a large group on 12/7/23. All of the seafood, whether fried or grilled, was perfectly cooked. Some of the best hush puppies I've ever had. The service was excellent too. This restaurant rates 5 stars with me. It was a pleasure eating there
I stopped here for dinner while driving through Jacksonville, as it's in the Rewards Dining program. Good decision! It's not fancy but the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. I enjoyed the fish sandwich with fries and a side Caesars salad...all delicious! And I sat at the bar for faster service. It's also in a convenient location not far from the interstate.
Jackie was our server and she was fantastic! Friendly with a great sense of humor! The food was fabulous! If youre looking for some great seafood Id definitely recommend you stop in!
My husband and I were very happy with our meal today. Our server Jordan C was really sweet and made our visit pleasurable. She was quick to take our order and bring out our food. She made sure we were taken care of the entire time and I’m glad we made the choice to eat here. Not pictured is the stuffed flounder I had but all of the food was tasty. We’ll be back again and hopefully we’ll have Jordan as our server again. She deserves a raise!
Been opened for 20 years. This is where the locals come. What else can I say? The food is great!
I had been to the Jax Beach location 6 years ago. It is now closed, but I'm happy I found this location.
Edit: The evening I ate here I was puking the hours later. Food poisoning. It was awful. I tried to call the restaurant twice once I flew home to no avail.
The food was tasty! We had the AYCE crab legs and shrimp; well seasoned and they came quick and hot! The only thing better than the food was our server Emily. She was friendly and took care of us without having to ask. She came with solutions to our requests and it shows she loves what she does. Will serve back to ask for her
I was very happy with my experience. Host and waitress were both very friendly. Host took the time to tell us exact amounts of food come on the platters. I got the Bisque. My husband and I got the Ship for one (pick 4) it was more then enough for him and I. 1 fish, 8 scallops, 12 shrimp and 10 oysters. All decent size. Not overly battered.
Found this hidden treasure on a trip to Jacksonville. Good mix of country/seafood. Had the gator strips with coleslaw and a baked potato. It was the small, but more than enough for one person. Great, responsive service and food came out quickly. Thought more people would be there, but it was a Monday night.
My family enjoyed the whole experience at Ship 2 Shore. The waitress was so pleasant and attentive to our party of 4. All our meals looked so appealing and tasted amazing and the price was very reasonable.
Dinner night was a hit at Ship 2 Shore! Juicy & seasoned crab legs, mouth watering fried green tomatoes and piping hot french fries was my feast! While my honey enjoyed his juicy & seasoned crab legs, scrumptious shrimps, sausage, potatoes and sweet corn! The service was great as well. That was a great meal!
