This was my first time at Angies. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly. Lots of locals were having dinner and we ran into a few old friends. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want some good shrimp and good home cooking.

Very personable and cheerful staff. Just a great atmosphere first thing in the morning. Oh yeah,... just the best breakfast in town!

Super good food! Amazing atmosphere too! Really gives off the Floridian attitude. My favorite is the Peruvian. The tater tots and tot sauce are also very good and they have great sweet tea!

A Jacksonville Staple. Went for a solo, quick dinner, but I can see this as a great place to pick up a couple sandwiches on your way to the beach. I’d recommend the schweet tea, tots with fry sauce to go along with whichever sub you fancy. Once you order, take a seat in the large eclectically decorated dining room and they’ll call your name and take your order right too you!

Ok so here we go. My wife and I heard about this place from numerous people and after seeing something on their menu I wanted to try we skipped dinner tonight. Drove over and first impression is the atmosphere is certainly different, and the way to order is odd yet interesting but awesome. So I ordered the “Kickin’ Chicken it is fried chicken tossed in ho-made hot peruvian sauce, provolone cheese, and Knick-knack (aka coleslaw) wrapped in flour tortilla.” This wrap did not disappoint. I mean the flavor was amazing and the crunch was on point couldn’t ask for any better. My wife on the other hand ordered “Shane which is turkey, salami, bacon, ho-made del rio, honey bbq Fritos, provolone and banana peppers but minus the banana peppers and onions. The flavor was great but the sandwich itself was extremely lacking in the meat department. We were shocked as it looked like there was barely any meat in the sandwich. The turkey just looked clumped on one side and barely any on the other. The salami was sliced across in 3 pieces. My wife was extremely disappointed as she was really excited about this place. We didn’t even see any bacon. They got the no BP and no onions right so that is great. Not sure if it was just a misjudgment on the staff working or just missed. We also ordered the fries and they were fantastic with their sauce. This place I am sure does make some amazing sandwiches and I would visit again. My wife might take sometime as she was really upset about this.

Wow.....super but overwhelming first visit. The food is simple and fabulous. The service and atmosphere are lively, friendly, and fun. If you area nubee, enter to the left and order, pay at the next counter, fix your beverage then take a seat, and your name will be called and your food delivered. Great experience and for me the first of many.

What can you say... it is Angie's. The sandwiches are excellent and the sides are just as good. If you like sweet tea, this is the best you will find. Be prepared to take some time looking at the menu on your first trip. The sandwiches are creative with some unexpected combinations. We will be going back.

I've been here several times. Good food and great staff! I just wanted to highlight one trip-I came in as a pregnancy and diabetic, and they were very accommodating. They cooked the meat, and showed me the sugar levels in the sauces. It made my stressful day, into a great dinner out. Thanks guys

We just left after our first time (after drooling over the pictures for months on Instagram). The sandwiches were good, but I'm here to say that one of the servers, Austin, was so amazingly sweet to our 3-year-old son. He even helped him get gumballs from the machine! He complimented him on his hair and helped him put the coins in his pocket and left us with a high five. It made my son so happy, and it was so refreshing to see such a kind gesture.

Great local place for a sub! The menu has some traditional subs, but they also have a big selection of unique sandwiches too. I recommend giving the Peruvian a try. Don’t forget to order a side of super crispy fries and grab a “schweet tea”. Really unique and fun atmosphere inside too with a decent sized outside seating area. Definitely worth a visit it you are in the area.
