Love this restaurant. Sometimes trouble getting a table. Great Japanese for cheap! Easy location to get in and out of. We love their teriyaki chicken hibachi chicken and shrimp bowl's.
12-16-2015, Got my weekly Miyabi Dinners today, and it was superbly cooked and tasted. Wish I had the same cook every time when I order. I want to thank Ms Wanda, Ms. Minhe, Ms. Chastity, and all the original and Fantastic chefs for paying special attention to our orders. In my opinion Miyabi Jr. Express, has the best tasted food in all of Jacksonville, NC.
Keep up the good work, Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all of you guys and gals.
Great service. Great food. Good portion sizes. Kind of pricey in comparison to other teriyaki places, but otherwise fabulous :)
Great Food and Service. The food is great and so is the service. This resturant is on the line of a fast food place but the service and food are far better than that. I think that their food is by far much better tasting than Shoguns. We have it at a minimum every other week and we are able to do that because the food is very reasonably priced. This is our absolute favorite place to eat.
So good! I love the steak bowl an it feeds me and my two kids! Bonus!!we love the rice, chicken, steak, veggies, and the mushrooms DELISH!
Used to live in richlandss now im in Orlando. The food was always awesome. Fast friendly service from wait and chefs. Miss the food like u miss ur favorite old TV show. Favorite plate filet and chicken. My mouth is watering.
Good express hibachi.. Love this resturaunt when I wan the hibachi taste, without having the wait! They're sushi, is so-so, but for the price it's perfect. Their taste is a lot better than the main hibachi resturaunt here in Jacksonville, Shoguns. Every time I've been there my food taste burnt. Miyabi Jr Express actually takes the time to make sure their food tastes good instead of worrying about performance.
The downsides I have come across are the servers. Recently I called to place an order so I could just go in and pick it up. A server answered with a simple, "hello?" Very unprofessional. I was confused because was calling to see if it was the right number and when their hours were. She proceeded to take my order, then when all was said and done, she told me they didn't even open for another forty five minutes! A couple of the women I have delt with are slightly rude and dull.
But overall this is a great place for a quick eat.
Good food. Great food! better than shoguns and very affordable. steak isnt the best though.
Good Japanese Fast Food. The steak dinner had a good flavor however the steak was fatty. They offer filet mignon in a combo dish but not by itself which is too bad. The servers could have been friendlier.
Great food and friendly service. Great addition to Jacksonville! Food is fresh and tasty...dishes created right in front of you.
All the employees are friendly and serve with a smile.

It was good, I had some of my brother's rice and some chicken pot stickers. Reminds me of my growing up here, nothing has change over the years and it is still good quality food. This stuff will fit you up.
Love this place! The food is always delicious! Over the years their portions have gotten much smaller. The price has gotten too high so Shogun is far better and they cook the food at your table. In light of the fact that it is only a few dollars cheaper per person at Miyabi now I will probably choose Shogun! You get alot more food for less than $5 more per person.
We usually pass by this place every time we stop by Staples and Best Buy. We finally decided to stop by today and we are definitely going back here again! At first we were a bit bothered because we had to wait for awhile to get our order, however I’d say the wait was definitely worth it. I ordered Fish & Teriyaki chicken entree and my husband ordered Teriyaki chicken bowl, it was delicious! The teriyaki chicken melts your mouth unlike Panda Express’ teriyaki chicken. The fish is perfect, it wasn’t too salty as well as the vegetables. My husband ended up not finishing his bowl since it is a pretty big serving and I’d say the price of our food is reasonable. The place seems to be busy and I can see why. You can’t really compare this with Panda Express since they cook your order fresh, it reminds me of Teriyaki Madness.

Best teriyaki and chicken rice bowl i have ever had. Food hits every-time. Only downfall is the constant long holds when calling in to order. Inside restaurant could definitely use a redesign and update as well.
I got my order to go. I've been here a few times and each time everything I've ordered has been delicious. It's a good sized portion for the price as well. I got a jr teriyaki chicken bowl and beef fried dumplings. Hibachi items available as well.. Yummy!
The food tastes so good. Its fresh, spring rolls with sauces, miyabi sauce, selection of chicken, shrimp, steak, fried tempura, rice, lo mein, grilled vegetables. Soda drinks available. Fast, friendly reasonably priced. Take out or dine in.

I enjoy getting food from Miyabi Jr's but I skipped on the 5th star because the taste of the food isn't consistent. It's still good, but sometimes it's not as good as usual. I can only guess it is more dependent on who the cook is that day.
Fantastic food for much less than a normal hibachi place. They’re always slammed but they’re still pumping good food out at a fast pace. Highly recommend!
Food is well priced with huge food portions. Fast food service. They have seating for both single and Multiple people. The sushi is good...... just good, wish they had a sushi chef....... the staffs are friendly. This place also has a Hawaii vibe to it.
