Great brunch spot that's within blocks from the beach. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The fries are hand cut with the perfect amount of seasoning and they offer a nice variety of cocktails.
The southern burger is OMG, drooling, amazing good. The fried green tomato with the pimento cheese and picked jalapeno. Really good. Service was great. They accommodated my no bun request without even blinking an eye.
Next time I will try an entree.
What I don't understand is that they were not crowded when the chains in the area have waits for a table. The choice is good but bland food at a chain or taste bud orgasmic food at a locally owned and operated restaurant. I know my choice.
I have had the best chicken appetizers in my life here. The sauce - to die for. A low simmer of heat with Tennessee vinegar based glaze, I was in heaven. Poured some of the sauce on the underlying coleslaw afterwards - pure heaven. Pickles? Outstanding!! Very juicy yet somewhat savory! Burger was above average and did not get a picture before I demolished it. Also had a spiked cheesecake milkshake which was amazing on it's own as well. Overall will be coming back to this place when I return go Jacksonville. A must go to place when visiting!!!
Seriously the chicken was the best chicken I have ever had.
I really enjoy this place. Burgers, whisky and fried chicken. Do I need to stay more? Sitting at the bar is my fave. I went for brunch for the 1st time today. They have bottomless mimosas for $10 and a really good brunch menu. Chicken and waffles were on point
The food was great. Ordered the brown ale wings for an appetizer, mahi fish tacos for my meal and my date ordered the whiskey burger. It was all so great!! Best Mac and cheese I've had in a while. Our waiter Patrick I would highly recommend.
Local bar with a good vibe. Bourbon/whiskey menu is extensive. Definitely recommend doing a flight or two. The food was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.
I drove my friend all the way down from Northern Michigan to get your Fried Green Tomatoes. As usual they did not disappoint. I will continue to rave about them. Our waitress was really down to earth. All around a great time :)
Fried green tomatoes were Great! Shrimp was very overcooked for the shrimp and grits but the rest was good. Service was fast and very friendly.
