Absolutely delicious home cooked food. Everything on the buffet is good.
Took a road trip thru MS & found this wonderful, local, authentic Southern cooking for Sunday lunch. It is a buffet, but the fried catfish and fried chicken were hot & fresh out of the cooker. The sides were a little on the sweet side, but that's true Southern. Don't skip the banana pudding for dessert. Fresh bananas and from-scratch pudding, nothing instant there.

this is some good southern cooking here! everything i've had is great, besides the chicken livers. i've never cared for them but my coworker said they were some of the best he's ever had so i gave them a shot. the fried chicken is has a nice light batter which is awesome. the red beans and rice is killer. the mac and cheese is done right. best ribs i've had on a buffet. i've never had their dessert because i'm always too full.
Man I was mostly raised in southern Cali but been in the sip for 20yrs and I super loved this place it taste like grandma and great grand ma cooking to the point. I love this southern cooking. most people that can cook like this? deceased.
They have the best rice and gravy! The staff is amazing! Food is always fresh! I highly recommend to those near and far!
Service was fantastic friendly and so sweet. We are from out of town and wanted country food instead of a burger place and the food was Awsome. Completely full and satisfied. We will definitely be back!!!!
If you're looking for southern soul foods, this is the place to go. The catfish and fried chicken are top notch and the green beans were so good, my friend had to go back for seconds (which she never does). The sweet tea tasted like summer and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home.
I got there about 2:30p today on a Monday. The food was delicious and the only thing I was a little disappointed about was not being able to try the peach cobbler. It was pretty much gone lol!! I ate every single bite of my food. The fried chicken was well seasoned along with the greens. The macaroni & cheese was perfect to me and the cornbread.
The food here is fresh, everything is clean. This service is excellent and the staff is real friendly and the food and atmosphere is way better then mama hamils. When I walked i felt welcomed. When i have people come to town and they want some good southern food this the place i will be taking them. Most definitely a 5 star rating
A little unknown place over on McDowell road Jackson Mississippi, wonderful food, good customer service, the place is due for some sprucing up, that will certainly make it more inviting. Sure would love to see that happen! The food is delicious 👌
