Subs done, right.
Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time today. I was told to get the big Kahana, and I wasn't disappointed. It was full full of meat and veg. It also had American cheddar. It was delicious and very filling. I got it on rosemary parmesan bread, which was also great. The service was personable and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try the many other subs
The Italian Sub done Mike's Way was absolutely delicious on Rosemary Cheese bread. The cold cut meats and provolone cheese were thinly sliced and tasted delicious with a hint of the Mike's Way dressing. The downside was that I should have ordered extra meat, and wish the bread was an Italian hoagie roll. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff, great subs. Most importantly each time I ask for gluten free and say I have a gluten "allergy" (I have Celiacs) and they do a full clean procedure, new gloves etc. the whole thing. And the staff always seems happy to do it, no griping. Perfect experience.
Fast service, good portion sizes and good food. We enjoyed our ham sub and roast beef sub sandwiches. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday for lunch. The tables and floors were a little dirty, but the food was fresh and well prepared.
The rosemary parmesan bread is what made the sandwich tasty. I split a ham and roast beef sandwich with my wife. We had it "Mike's way" minus the onions. Basically, that is the works with oil and vinegar and those dreaded onions.
The sandwiches were good, but not fabulous. The service was very good, but we were new and i don't think they are used to dealing with new people. They assumed we knew the ins and outs.
The card reader was a little weird. It was like there were two places to insert the card, and only one of them works.
The reason I am not giving it five stars, is because the place was totally not clean. I understand they were busy and the customers are supposed to bus their own tables, but each table had crumbs on it in the entire place. The floor was dirty as well. Crumbs everywhere.
Again, that may have been because they were slammed for Sunday at lunch, but even during the slow times, I didn't see someone come wipe the tables or sweep.
I ordered a cold cut sandwich it needed more meat for sure. The meat lacked flavor. My wife ordered a chicken Philly sandwich and she thought it was great. It looked good. Good service. Clean restaurant.
Ear here for lunch frequently as it's close to my work. Only messed up my order once. Other than that one time they're always on it. That Chipotle Cheese steak sandwich is the bomb diggity.
Fast service, sandwiches made to order in front of you. What's not to like? I had the hot steak and my wife the tuna. Tried the Mike's Way on the Italian. Wow! Now that's an east coast sub! Hint: add the banana peppers and ask for more juice!
I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Probably the only place where the food looks like the advertisement and everything tastes terrific. No more stale bread and wilted lettuce sandwiches from subway for me.
Food is always fresh and made fast. Priced on the high side for subs but they have the best hot subs
