A place with 5-star food…authentic home style dal and roti, that was amazing. The best part that it is in quick detour from the highway. We were late in reaching there but they still prepared proper food for us. The dal was purely homestyle..and tasted like the dal in actual dhabas in Punjab! Roti and saag was just perfect.
The atmosphere wasn’t very restaurant-y but the food was, so can go there. They also have a tiny store attached that sells indian snacks and sweets. I would say not to try the food items like paneer ( a little sweeter as per American taste) etc, but go with simple food, like dal, saag and roti (more home-like), and you won’t be disappointed!
There is no seating area however this restaurant seemed pretty popular. Saw lot of people picking orders. The food here is good, especially chapati. In US, usually Indian restaurants serve you frozen Indian breads but I was in awe of the freshly made rotis. The quantity was more than enough in each dish.
Ate there 6/1/23 I knew it was gonna be close to authentic and taste good because of the reviews for ““poor customer service””. Which I did not experience, they where all super nice!!! Only reason for the four stars is lack of description and pictures of the plates. Being as this is only the second time ever having Indian food I had no idea what was what so I played 20 questions with the older Indian man with the poor English. But I got a close enough idea on what was what. And the food was extremely good. Was super fresh and boiling hot, definitely recommend. It’s not fancy or nothing but it just good food in large portions. Only picture I have is what was left of my to go box. Curry chicken and spicy chili some thing or another.
Bomb Food! I always order 2 Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikamasala, and one Rice and It will feed me twice. $25 for two meals that are home cooked and are full of amazing flavor.
Very friendly service. Food delicious. I bought plenty to last me a few days. Bought chicken biryani, goat curry and Mango Lassi. Goat curry was delicious. It's spicy so if you don't like hot spices please specify. I happen to like hot spiced food. Will go back again.
Amazing! I was at the truck stop across the street I love Indian food. Anytime I can get some I try too. Today was one of those lucky days . This was so delicious and the right amount of spicy ! Thank you so much for making sure it got done on time before my departure. I appreciate it . Highly recommend!
Great value and great quality, Ive tried several dishes and they have all been delicious and thé service is great as well.
I will forever love this place! The ladies are sweet and respectful, the food is always great. Each time we are in there area, we stop here but we order over the phone because parking can get tight. They have a few paid truck parking spots which is cool. The point price for the food is very worth it!
I love this place! We try to stop here whenever we’re in the area! The food is great the people are great. The lady’s are super sweet as well. I always call ahead and each time they know who I am and what I’m ordering! THE FOOD IS AMAZING especially when you’re an OTR driver wanting to eat REAL FOOD! 10/10 always trying again!!!!!!!!!!
Humble restaurant with good home style panjabi food. Rotis and daal are probably the best so far in Indy. No seating but great takeaway place and if you like outside air then there are 2 benches :)
Amazing food decent price must try atleast once.
