Probably some of the best BBQ and Mac and cheese I've ever had!!!
Not the least expensive barbeque place I've eaten at recently but one of the better ones for sure. A sweet theme runs through the food I tried on my first visit. Picked up a1/2 slab rib dinner with 2 sides and a brisket dinner with 2 sides for my co-worker.
The sauce is sweet, with a very slight heat and strong fruit flavor - pineapple at a bet - that makes it feel almost like a glaze.
The candied yams were also very sweet but when I got there they were peeling the yams. The sweetness has a nice flavor - not maple syrup but maybe turbinado sugar or a touch of molasses - and doesn't completely bury the yam or cinnamon.
I’ve tried different food from the east coast to the Midwest and this place is awesome. I really couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted so I got a little bit of everything. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and yams. I was a bit skeptical about the Mac and cheese after overhearing another costumers Mac wasn’t the same as the first time. But I loved it.
Whenever I’m in town I will absolutely make sure that I come back for more.
Yesterday, I got dinner from Andres Food Truck located at 71st Street and Michigan Road next to Long John’s Silver. This was my first visit to Andres. I got the Basa dinner with greens and yams. Called in the order and it was ready when I arrived. The Basa was fried just right, not overcooked, and very tasty. Most joints just throw in some quick, bland sides, but the greens and yams were very tasty with some distinctive flavoring. I do recommend taking out the stalks from the greens but they were still very tasty. Plentiful portions of everything with the dinner. Very pleased and impressed with Andres Food Truck. Brother Andres, you WILL see me again! 👍🏿✊🏿👍🏿✊🏿
I visited this place twice ! I had their chicken and ribs and Mac and cheese !! I must say this is one of the better spots I tried in INDY! I was disappointed about the ribs at their other location, though but the location on Michigan is bomb ! Shoutout to Q, on the grill; he did his thing !
Got the brisket dinner with greens and Mac n cheese. Supremely tender as can be. The left overs reheated well with a little butter.
I'm not from Indy but my brother's live here so I visit as much as I can. By far my favorite spot to get food from I've found out here. Delicious

Everything was amazing. Drove by not knowing about this place and boy am I glad I did.
