I love going to the Quills, the place is perfect for working, reading, studying,..etc. They have a spacious place with couches, chairs and window bar counters (my favorite).
Coffee is great! Speciality flavored drinks are okay.
Croissant are very good too.
They have their own merches; mugs and t-shirts, in addition to the coffee.
Staff are mostly, but not consistently, friendly.
Definitely recommend.
Definitely a great and spacious place to work and relax in the middle of downtown. Parking was a breeze early morning and I enjoyed my Americano which was absolutely the way I liked it. It was pretty quiet from 7-9 and then started filling in quite quickly.
Quills has an array of spring flavors, baked goods such as muffins and cookies and a variety of coffee beans and apparel to choose from.
The glass panes gives an open vibe and the contemporary furniture gives a very casual and comfortable feel. Quills is dog friendly so overall great place to work out of.
Enjoyed a salted maple latter hot and a chocolate croissant. Staff was friendly. Place was quiet and enjoyable. Very clean and tons of seating and good lighting.
I'm not a coffee person. The other patrons looked like they were enjoying theirs. I went to find tea. I didn't find tea, but I found Mexican Coca Cola. They have tasty blueberry muffins.
This place has a trendy vibe. It's clean and bright. Many were taking advantage of WiFi.
Hidden gem: quills coffee!!! Situated downtown closed to the canal walk river. It is actually in the nine on canal building. Very aesthetic. It also has great graphics and places to study. You may also be able to purchase coffee. The croissant with chocolate were pretty good as well. This place is great for a studying section.
Great vibes, great service and really good coffee. This is not your syrup and quick brew mix shop, it is an artisan coffee joint with great coffee.
Amazing pour over coffee. So many options, and we found an amazing one. Definitely quality coffee here. Highly recommended.
I was in Indianapolis for the day and stopped by Quill’s for a pick-me-up after driving for a few hours. I got a latte and a bag of beans to take home and enjoy. They called me for my drink and without thinking, I left the bag of beans that I had purchased on one of the tables next to the couch. I left the store and did not realize until much later in the day when I was already out of Indy that I had left the beans there. My wife emailed the following day to see if there was anything they could do. She received a response from Jess Magness, General Manager, and they ended up shipping the bag of beans that I purchased along with some stickers. Incredible coffee and customer service!
This Indy outpost of one of Kentucky's best roasters continues to live up to expectations in their new space. Several options on batch, espresso, and pour over and an even larger selection of whole beans in bags. Natural Honduran on espresso was good, pour over washed Ethiopian was also good (they're running a Marcos automated system over a Kalita Wave). Picked up bags of Koji processed Colombian and a Guatemalan-grown Gesha that I'm looking forward to trying at home! Cookies from 4Birds bakehouse and pastries from another place that I don't remember the name of round out a solid cafe menu.
I was in Indy briefly and looking for a coffee shop other than Starbucks. Found this quaint place in Indy. Love the relaxed vibe. I had the cold brew with half & half and sugar free vanilla syrup.
