They are absolutely delicious! I’m such a picky dessert eater and when I tell you fully I g cupcakes has the best cupcakes ever! They are so moist and the perfect amount of sugar. My favourite is the red velvet
In my opinion, The Flying Cupcake is a decent bakery - the cupcakes are definitely on the extra-sweeter side and can be a bit heavy. I often find that the icing is a bit overwhelming and makes the cupcake hard to eat after a few bites. Additionally, I've noticed that the cupcakes can be a bit dry, and it would be nice if there was some filling inside to add moisture.
That being said, I did order a cake from The Flying Cupcake for my best friend's birthday and it was pretty good! While the cupcakes may not be my absolute favorite, I still enjoy them and appreciate the variety of flavors available.
Overall, I would say that I like The Flying Cupcake, but I don't love it. It's a good spot for satisfying a sweet tooth, but the cupcakes could benefit from some improvements in texture and sweetness.
I ate my cake and had it.😂👇🏼
After a cupcake, you're left with a bit of guilt in the back of your mind. How will you manage to justify that last indulgent bite?🤷🏻
The answer is simple. Buy a second, bigger one.😀😜
The Flying Cupcake has just what i needed a selection of jumbo cupcakes to share with friends and family. Heart-shaped, ❤️with a range of flavors, you can never go wrong with this adorable confectionery shop 🍰
Make a good recommendation 👍

I was in town for a conference and these convention centers never have decent dessert options for vegans. I used DoorDash to order a vegan red velvet Elvis to satisfy my sweet tooth and it did not disappoint! For starters, the cupcake was HUGE and I definitely had enough for 2 servings. Plus, it was just a darn good cupcake! The chocolate chips baked inside was such a delightful addition. I have another trip to Indy in another few months and I'm looking forward to another one of these!!
This place was such a pleasant surprise! We weren't originally looking for cupcakes, but the sign on the door and the quirky decor really drew us in! The cupcakes had very clever names and the decorations on the walls were very interesting to look at! The chocolate peanut butter cupcake was delicious! I highly recommend this place!
(Cannolis are not available here, I brought that in from a different place)
Nice quaint spot....nicely decorated!! Lots of whimsical old-fashioned decor which was very cute. The cupcakes are good... different flavors to choose from. Not a huge selection, but it's not a huge location....so it works for where they are. There is no price list, so we weren't sure how much the cupcakes were until she added up the bill. We were able to sit down and taste the cupcakes.. it was kind of hard choosing a favorite, but we definitely had some 1st & 2nd place ties. I would visit again if I were in town visiting.
My son would rave about this place. He convinced me to get the Red Velvet cupcake, and I hate red velvet cake with a passion. Let me just say that this red velvet cupcake was DIFFERENT, in a good way. It was moist and didn't have the bitter taste that other RV cakes had.
Such a fun 🧁cupcake shop on Mass Ave.! The flavors are creative & delicious, and the fun decor creates an experience. The location is in an area surrounding cool shops, restaurants, & places for drinks. There are parking lots about a block away.
One of my favorite bakeries in Indianapolis. The red velvet is my favorite! It is so delicious, moist, and the buttercream frosting is to die for. Wish the inside was cuter, but they have a really gorgeous turquoise seat in their Castleton location.
Delicious German chocolate cupcake, and huge! Also didn’t realize it was the sister company to the Lemon Bar in Zionsville. The red velvet is fantastic!
