My fiance took me here. She said that she use to come here many years before and never really tried the food. Just hung out with friends. Her food palette according to her was limited. Since we've gotten together she has become more adventurous with her food choices. So this visit was the first for her and me where we would be trying the food. I love sharing these moments with her. I ordered the chicken Philly, her a croissant turkey club. I have to say. The food was so tasty, so much flavor. The bread of my sandwich was so soft. The croissant was airy, buttery and soft. We also had the carrot cake. It was delicious. We will definitely eat here again. I had to take some desserts home.
I had a party catered by Illinois Street Food Emporium and everything was great. Ordering was an easy process, the food was displayed beautifully, and everything tasted amazing. I received many compliments about the food from everyone at the party. We have eaten here many times over the years and have always enjoyed it, but this was the first time trying their catering services. Would definitely use them again!
Recently ordered a few dozen of their silver dollar sandwiches for an open house and I can't thank the staff at Illinois St enough for swooping in quick and getting us ready right on time. The sandwiches are too cute and delicious. Packed nice and neat to present. Easily my go to when I need to feed a small crowd quick!
Don't miss the pastry counter, bete noir, and their breakfast/lunches are great grab and go!
This is a wonderful place for some breakfast or lunch. I love the taco salad myself. They have many great sweet treats. Very inclusive to all. The hours are kind of odd, but if you get there during open hours, it's great!
Nice place with a very great staff, poor parking (out of their control). I got a few thing outside of a rainbow sugar cookie! The cookie was really good and the coffee was amazing. I got an ice coffee and the flavor was marvelous. The croissant I got was different, looked like a croissant but tasted like a flakey biscuit not as airy as the classic croissant. The fudge delight was probably my favorite bakery item I had… it was a coconut twist to a no bake cookie. They also had some frozen items that I will definitely be back for!!!
What a great place to eat good food and good prices. They have lunch specials for $10. My husband and I ate here and were satisfied with the ample food and drink choices. The food was fresh and high quality. The service was very friendly and patience. You could tell this was our first time. We highly recommend if you are visiting or if you are a local.
I decided to try this place for lunch today. Having eaten their donuts previously, I knew they were legitimate bakers. The question was -- are they legitimate restauranteurs. Based on the lunch I had, I wholeheartedly believe they can fail at nothing. While a simple sandwich, their grilled smoked turkey was delicious. It may well be my favorite turkey sandwich. The bread is soft but sturdy, the turkey is smokey and satisfying, and the cheese, lettuce, and tomato were fresh. The vegetable soup was hearty and warming. I really like vegetable soups that don't skip over any vegetables like cabbage. For about $12, the whole experience was exceptional. The wait for service and food was well worth it. Perhaps, next time, I'll show up a little earlier and skip the $2.50 drink to keep it quick and under $10. I will definitely return.
We used Illinois Street Food Emporium for our wedding because they have amazing donuts that are great quality for reasonable prices with tons of variety! If you’re planning to be unconventional like us and have wedding donuts instead of cake, ISFE should be your #1 choice!! Their donuts are fresh, big, and incredibly tasty. The best donuts in Indy, in my opinion. Vivian was so kind and great to work with! Definitely recommend them for any donut or other cafe/bakery needs!! (Note - they did not provide the wall; I have a friend who built it. But they did have all the donuts packed up in boxes that were super helpful and easy to transport!)
Had the soup and sandwich special for lunch. Just what I needed: vegetarian vegetable soup and a crisp grilled cheese sandwich. Nothing fancy, but just right.

We sat outside with the dogs. We had great service although you have to go inside to order and get your drinks. We had Havarti Delight and a roasted turkey ... good food and coffee
