So far this is the place to beat burger wise in Indy that I've been to. A solid burger place with plenty of choices. I also loved the bourbon slushy. The fries are nothing special though. If you have a craving for a burger and you're in Indy this is a great choice.
we split a burger and it was cooked to perfection. The time we arrived was happy hour which they don't have but the beer selection included 16 draft beers. Quite, young family friendly place.
317 Burger - nice place, nice bar, good burger, good service, good beer selection, comfortable setting. There's not much more to say than that. They have a number of other things on their menu if you don't want a burger, and their appetizers are interesting. And even if you don't want to get something to eat and would like to enjoy a beer, 317 Burger and its taproom - None the Wiser - are a great place to relax with friends. 317 Burger fits in wonderfully with the rest of the Broad Ripple places of choice.
A friend of mine and I had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it. We each had the diner burger with fries and had an order of pickle fries. We got the diner burger because it was part of the burger week special. I am wanting to go back and try their regular burger patties. The diner burger is made with 2 smaller thin burger patties (like you would get at an old fashioned diner). The burger had good flavor. The fries were good. The pickle fries were very good. I would go back here again.

This was our first visit. It was a nice evening so we were looking for outdoor seating. We decided to try 317 Burger. It was a great al fresco location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing! We cannot wait to go back since they have such a great selection of signature burgers. We are so glad we stopped by. This will become a regular destination!

Okay. I have messed this post up already. This is the second joint we visited today, with the raw cafe being the first. So I should have written this first so it would appear second. That way it would have a logical sequence. Oh well. After our first course we needed some meat. This burger joint started out as dinner only but a few weeks ago they started serving lunch. During lunch they use a smaller version of their menu. No appetizers and most of their speciality burgers aren’t on there. Pat decided on their classic for $9 at lunch with chips instead of homemade fries. That is their basic Angus burger with cheese and usual cold set. When I asked our bartender about their speciality burgers he told me they could fix anything on the menu. Which I thought was very nice of him. I had my eye on the Parthenon. A lamb burger with “gyro bacon”, feta and tatziki sauce on a pita; with fries for $12. My burger was more than the mid rare I ordered and the “gyro bacon “was sliced gyro meat. I guess they figured that some crisp strips from a gyro cone would give a bacon effect. Well the overall flavor was very good but I think some lamb bacon from Smoking Goose would do a better job. As for the over cook that was just an all around goof. The meat had a bit of pink to it so it was rendered uneatable, and as I said it was tasty. As far as the fries went they were your usual limp house cut fries. Tasty but not real crisp. So all in all they offer a pretty good burger. I would like to try one of their regular Angus burgers and see if they can do one medium rare.

Great experience and fast service. We really enjoyed the burgers. Cooked perfectly. Big fan of the white cheddar cheese! Fries were fresh and tasty! Good beer selection too. I'll definitely return.
Not a bad burger joint. I think one thing to note is this place is more bar than restaurant I'd say with it's selection of beers and atmosphere. That said I found most of the food to be good, my burger was good too. I made my own and it tasted as desired. Everyone I was with seemed pleased with their food. The fries were good. Great beer selection. I will say service was lacking especially considering how slow it was at the time. Otherwise a decent place to try for a good burger but with so many options I'm not sure this would be my first stop for a burger.
Excellent burger and worth every dollar. Fries are great too. See the pic. If you are looking for a non-chain experience for a wonderful burger, this is your place. They serve a wide variety of local beers. The wait staff is wonderful and makes the experience. The food was delivered hot and fast and the place had a crowd. Go here.
This is a pleasant lil spot to sit and have some good beer and a better burger! The outside seating touches all your senses...

I'm always pleased with any establishment that offers Sour beer and ciders too.
Parking sucks so be prepared for that... and you might feel like you're being a bit rushed if it's getting later in the evening but it's an enjoyable experience. If you do go, be sure to say Hi to the very dapper gentleman that door guards at The Quarter.

I’ve been meaning to try 317 Burger for quite a long time but have never gotten around to it.
I finally got to visit them last week.
And honestly, the experience was not as good as I wanted it to be.
The food was decent but not totally outstanding. The fresh cut fries were pretty tasty and well seasoned although, not as crispy as they look in the photos attached. The burger however was just pretty plain. Not that much seasoning. Nothing special about it. Still was hot and cooked the way I like it!
We also got chips and queso as an appetizer and it was decent.
Our waitress was also really nice and the vibe is also amazing! They have a couple walls full of clocks which I found impressive!
So overall, I’ll still return to try their other sandwiches. Still a joint I’d recommend trying out!
Absolutely fantastic place to eat! My wife and I came during a slow period on a Saturday afternoon. We shared a fried mac and cheese appetizer ($8) which was delicious. Cheese wasn't too punchy, it had great flavor and went well with the fried parts. My wife ordered the Strawberry Hill burger ($15), but I'm not as into spicy so I tried the monthly special Blueberry Hill burger ($13) instead. Both burgers had great flavors and were cooked to what we specified. Highly recommend the garlic parmesan truffle fries as an upgrade, I had sweet potato fries which were about on par with what I've had elsewhere. We both were too full to order anything else, will have to return to try this again soon!
Heading back to Florida from a wedding, came upon 317. Great rustic full bar with awesome unheard of choices for food! Ryan was our bartender and recommended a wonderful array of food selections. Very polite, informative and professional. I would come every night if I lived here!! The Porky pig was a great appetizer and the Brussels sprouts are a piece of work! So wonderful!!! Yes, Brussels sprouts!
Miranda is an awesome server and manager!! She is always so witty and makes the night even more fun by having her around! She’s great at her job and great at suggesting dishes, describing dishes, and making people smile. The burgers were great! I enjoyed my 317 grilled cheese a lot, too. The pickles fries are pickle chips right now and still were really good! Highly recommend going there! We got to sit in the bar area and it was perfect!
Amazing burgers and fries. Dog friendly! Sit with your furry friend on their patio and enjoy some incredible food. If you’re into pickles, I highly recommend upgrading your side to the dill pickle fries — the delicious crunch is definitely worth it.

I tried the Strawberry Hill burger and the peanut butter crept up on me like a smooth criminal taking my taste buds away. The wings with the award winning dirty sauce are top 3 smoked wings I’ve ever tasted and the mac n cheese balls were dope (the extra cheese to dip it in was a nice icing on the cake). Friendly staff, great bartender, cool vibe (wise owls) makes this place a must try for sure! Head there and tell them your favorite @travelingfoodieguyde sent you and tag me in your pics/videos.
Great burger place! The best part is, being a vegetarian I had the option of choosing any from the menu and substitute it with a vegetarian/vegan patty with good side options. I ordered shroom burger with beyond patty and tots on the side. Wasn’t disappointed with my choice. Will definitely comeback to try other options soon. It’s definitely a busy place but we were accommodated soon. A reservation is recommended. Great patio. The staff is friendly & responsive. Thank you 371 burger 👍🏼
This is one of the great burger places you can find in broad ripple! Food is excellent and cooked to order! The service is wonderful with very courteous employees! The establishment is well kept and looked after! 5 star from this Pirate! Photos included both great meals and cooked to medium as requested!
