Yasss. This place is a must if you're vegetarian or vegan. Delicious food and they even have beer and wine! The staff is very friendly as well. It seems like everyone that works there enjoys their job.
Stopped by for some vegan food on our way through Indy, so glad we did! I had the seitan melt and it was one of the best vegan sandwiches I have ever had. Their vegan cheese was to die for, never had anything like it. My husband got the "high five" in buffalo sauce and he loved it as well. Our 7 year old raved about their "cheese" sauce for the Mac n cheese. And our 1 year old chowed down on the tofu. Great experience and would definitely go back next time we are going through the city!
So delicious! Stopped by during our trip to Indianapolis and our entire party was beyond pleased. My non vegan family members LOVED the nachos, and their meals were so delicious as well! Such a lovely break before we saw Oppenheimer, would definitely suggest if you’re a vegan (or non vegan) in the area! So yummy, and open late as well unlike the other vegan spots in town. A true delight, even the cucumber lemonade and baked treats were divine! Thank you for the wonderful time three carrots <333
Delicious food!! Amazing service! My best friend is vegetarian and has been wanting to try this place for a while. I’m not but I would definitely go back here. The food was amazing!
My boyfriend and I are not from Indy; we were just in town for one day at a conference. He’s a vegetarian and I’m a vegan, so it’s kind of hard to eat at restaurants (especially when we leave our usual neighborhood haunts). Three Carrots was suggested by a couple locals and we decided to give it a try. The neighborhood is active; people stroll down the streets, various cuisines can be found near by, and the surrounding houses are delightfully quirky. We decided to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather. There Carrots itself is open and inviting, every staff member we encountered was efficient and kind without being overbearing. You view the menu off of provided QR codes and order at the bar whenever suits you. They have a little cart set up inside where you can grab your own water, take out boxes, napkins, etc. We decided to try a variety of things, finally settling on the fried cauliflower, fried zucchini, chips/guac, and the almighty Korean BBQ bowl with fried seitan as the protein choice. The cauliflower was a swing and a miss for us, but the fried zucchini with provided sauce was delicious. Let me tell you about that Korean BBQ bowl, though. When I tell you it will make you want to slap your Mama, I am so serious. Every bite is an assault of flavor; your palette will never know what’s coming next. Crunchy, tangy, hint of spice. Good lord, can we please have a round of applause? If we ever go back to Indy, Three Carrots will be on the top of the list to visit. Our bill total was around $46 but we also walked out with four to go boxes. Happily stuffed. Also, to the plus-size community, the seating can handle you comfortably.
Great food in a comfortable space. While driving though, this restaurant came up and it is surely destination worthy vegan food! Healthy, beautiful bowls, with fantastic tofu and veggies.
The new chik'n sandwich on the menu is really great! Also excited to see brunch has been moved to Sundays only instead of all weekend. Next time family visits from out of town on a Saturday it can be an option when we want lunch. We aren't brunchers.
Oh my goodness. Me and my three non-vegan friends ate here and none of us were disappointed.
Such a cute, cafeteria style spot for a quick bite. Not too busy when they first open. I got a cup of coffee by Bee Roaster’s (strong) and the Buffalo Sheltonator. I didn’t realize the fries were on the burger and not the side but otherwise a really decent vegan burger. Great texture and the sauce is spicy and tangy.
With not so many vegan options in Indy, we had to try the Three Carrots.
Friendly staff, extensive menu with all vegan dishes. We had the Seitanderloin and the Seitan Pesto Melt, both among the best vegan burgers/sandwiches we ever had.
Went for vegan brunch on a Sunday & was so impressed. A bit of a wait time but it was efficient and fast especially bc we didn't know to call ahead either.
The food was SO DELICIOUS.
Live 4 hours away and would come back.
Food was delicious and I love that everything is vegan! Had to order at the bar, and they brought the food out to us. They keep the things you would need (extra silverware and napkins, water and cups, to go containers and bags) out at a side cart which I really liked. Wasn’t sure what to do with my plates and such when we were done, and we felt awkward leaving everything at our table.
