Visited on a Friday evening June of 2017, initial impression was good, I liked the partially open kitchen, overall the place was perhaps even a little nicer then I expected(should have stepped it up to a collared shirt). We were promptly seated and started to review the drink menu, they had a nice draft selection as I walked in but unfortunately the menu was so vague with "seasonal draft" that we couldn't make a decision until the waiter came over.
That's where things derailed a bit as it took the waiter well over 5 minutes to first approach the table, and that was just the "I'll be right with you." Now we had no where to be so this is not the end of the world but with so much staff buzzing around it would have been nice to some someone at the table in a more timely manner(bread, water, etc). When he did arrive the beer selection ended up being poor(no IPA's??) so we went with a glass of wine which was fine. Bread arrived served with a cold tomato/garlic sauce....bread was not impressive, sauce was okay.
I ordered a Sirloin and my wife ordered the pasta with Italian sausage. Both meals are pictured, and while they took a while to come out both really were excellent. Pretty sure I got a filet not a sirloin but NOT complaining, the food was really on point.
Overall our dinner was enjoyable and the food was very good, had the service been a little more prompt early on I'd probably have nothing to complain about. That being said my opinion is that this is a place to go for a birthday dinner with the family. As just a couple I would have preferred a more modern vibe/atmosphere.
Had reservations for 9:30, made it in at 9:15, and out appetizers were on the table by 9:35... Amazing service from our waitress, Hailey. Food was definitely on point. Great overall experience. I'll be back for sure!
Oh that paella — so fresh, light and flavorful! And if you’re looking for comfort food with flair, I snagged a sample of my husband’s rigatoni bolognese and it really hit the spot. The tiramisu cake was a great spin on a familiar favorite. The staff was so attentive and friendly, they weren’t intrusive but made sure we were comfortable with everything we needed.
Food was fine. We were accompanied with a performing band. Consider its location right in the middle of downtown, i understand the high price.
Went for a late dessert and appertif after an event at the convention center. Desserts were good, wait staff was very good. Bread pudding was a hit. Cocktail wasn't as good as expected. I suspected and confirmed that an advertised ingredient wasn't used. They discounted but did not remake the cocktail.

Palomino never disappoints. Great service time and time again, and food quality is always grade A! This is my go to spot for anniversaries, birthdays, and Valentine’s Day. The open feel and dimmed lighting help set a great mood. On my most recent visit, I pulled a move I was ashamed about and showed up 45 minutes until close. My server was still attentive and provided wonderful service. She engaged in conversation with all tables at the end of the shift, which is rare!
The menu boasts great cocktails, and dishes for every pallet. I personally prefer their prime rib, and my significant other will swear that their 4 cheese pasta could save the world! If getting dessert, try not to stress too much, all options are great as well.
I would strongly recommend palomino over other steak houses for the simple reason they do not over do it. Their steaks are quality cuts prepared with attention and they shy away from the now standard gluttonous portions you find other places.
Simply said, in my 4 year relationship Palomino has consistently been my go to choice and is worth the try!
Delicious food and excellent service! I ordered the ruby red trout special topically the trout is served with potatoes however I am on a low carb diet so they substituted grilled veggies. They were delicious! It was so nice to have a restaurant go out of their way with a vegetable side rather then something like steamed broccoli I could get elsewhere.
This place is excellent. We met at the door and then seated. Our waiter name was Dale. Fantastic waiter. My wife has a few digestive issues since her cancer treatments. This gentleman was totally professional. Helped her pick the entre that would suit her. Food was absolutely fantastic. I had the salmon, she had chicken. Excellent portion and cooked perfectly. This place is a 10. Great experience.
The service was fantastic, we has a great, friendly waitress. The food was splendid however I felt it was not amazing. My pallet felt it had tasted similarities at Texas Roadhouse in the steak and potatoes. The buttered garlic shrimp however was mouthwatering good. A plate of that would be worth it.
Restaurant was very clean. Got waited on and seated immediately. Waitress was very tentative and polite. My wife and I ordered two brick oven pizzas and they were both really delicious. The price was reasonable. From the East coast and will definitely be back if we ever come this way again. Thanks!
