First time going there and the double burger and fries is so good. Puts Whataburger to shame. I also really enjoyed talking to the cook aka owner. So sweet. He is struggling with the new fancy big chains in that area. Times are changing but it is so nice to see that little mom and pop places are trying not to let themselves be run off. I will be back. Cheap prices and cash only.
if you're ever feeling alone or depressed, come to this place. this place has been there for me when no one else has — everything my husband and I have ordered has always been badass. plus the main dude is super nice. highly recommend, its my fave take out place
I got a double cheeseburger and a pile of fries for $6.25. Six dollars. After tax. You can't get that anywhere. Fries were great, burger wasn't the best I've ever had but it was pretty good and it cost me six dollars and one quarter. I will definitely be going again for a burger or to try the Chinese.
The food is good and cheap. It's a shame big chains make businesses like this struggle. Help the poor guy out people, he's been there 50 years. And you stuck up people giving bad reviews, just go somewhere else. You're no food critic.
Yes. It's sketch. But the food is great, and the dude working there is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's been open for 50 years for a reason. One of the best hole in the walls in the heights.
Yes, the building looks run down and semi-sketch but the food is great! The gentleman running the place and cooking was super nice as well. It is CASH ONLY so be prepared before you head over there.
The food is delicious and very generous with the serving..... He does take long Cooking the food BUT that's because everything is cooked fresh......and it's worth the wait...... I would call ahead of time if you don't want to wait or in a hurry.... He might take like 20mins to prepare the food but that because we order for 6 so who knows might be less time.... he's also very friendly 😊
Always able to make a customer feel at home and the food its so wonderful might not be fancy but what counts is how the service itself
The place is old and not the prettiest but I have never had anything from here that I didn't like. The place has been around FOREVER so that should say something.
The best food...My favorite is the hamburger and fries but everything is good!!!
