This was the best BBQ baked potato I've ever had. The pork was perfectly smoked, tender, and delicious. This is a counter serve, Vince immediately greeted me, welcoming in. This goes a long way with me as I feel customer service has somewhat diminished over the last several years and is no longer a priority with most businesses. But here they are on top of the game. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Houston.
Ot was my first time going into a Pappa's Bar BQ. Julio was a Rockstar, very friendly and informative. The BBQ potato was HUGE and damn tasty! I'll definitely be going back.
We eat BBQ often. This was one of the best BBQ diners I've purchased. I had the pork and brisket with green beans and slaw. She gave me a cup of hot sauce. Every bit of this meal was great. The beans were different from any I've had. Excellent. The meat tasted great. The brisket edges had a great taste and the sauce.........I tried to buy a bottle no luck. I'll be back.

Had the beef trio (Ribs, Sausage and Brisket) smothered in Tangy Mustard Sauce and Espresso BBQ Sauce with the Cucumber Salad and Baked Beans as a side.
This was our first time having real Texas BBQ and it did not disappoint! 🤤
Only complaint I have is they close too early, couldn't go back for dinner with the rest of the family.

I had a chance to dine at this restaurant during the lunch hour. The restaurant was not busy at all and there was no wait. I ordered a chicken baked potato which was very filling and very much like a comfort food. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.
The Thanksgiving meal looks and tastes amazing! I may never cook Thanksgiving meal again. Ordered a family board on the side for the smoked meat. Thanks Pappas's for always coming through. #LittleYorkLocation
Love it. Ribs are excellent, baked potatoes, BBQ sandwich and especially their Chicken salad 😋 Love me some Salad. Haven't tried their catfish YET 😋. Love catfish. Thanx Papas Bar-B-Q. My daddy loved this place. Rest in heaven pops. Love and miss you so much.

Pretty cool atmosphere. Didn't know this place was a chain. The BBQ sauce that you can get at the counter is *awesome*, I highly recommend dunking all your foodstuffs in it. I got the half chicken and the ribs, with two sides. The sides weren't really much to write home about, unfortunately.
The ribs were good, however, I didn't see other styles (e.g. St. Louie style) as an option. The ribs could have had a little more meat on them.
The chicken however, was *perfect*. There were a few spots that were a little red, but that didn't really bother me. They give you a giant chicken that has really delicious seasoning on the skin, and this made the trip worth it.
The food is awesome here. I really like ordering ahead and then picking up at a parking spot. But inside is really nice as well. The service is good and the food is really good!!
This Pappas BBQ is conveniently located next to the highway. It has ample parking lot and 2 lanes for the drive thru. It has a large outdoor patio. The restaurant has a lot of seating inside. The order line has a great view of all the desserts, salads, side choices and drinks. The food taste good and comes in large portions.
