My over all experience was pretty good. They were welcoming. Tried their Chinese for the first time and it turned out amazingly delicious. Buffet has many options. Seems like their service has improved. Environment was nice. They did not had any background music I don't know why. And I also observed a lady constantly working in shalwar kameez, kind of a good thing and encouraging for our women to work outside as well.

I don't know why some people write very bad reviews for this restaurant!! For me .. I went to the dinner/buffet time at 7 pm on Wednesday with a group of 5 persons. The buffet was full with clean, fresh, hot and delicious food for $11.99/person ($9.99 for lunch). The place, dishes, and utensils were clean. The atmosphere was good and quite. The owners kept walking around and checking on the tables. The waiters kept asking if we need anything and they were ready to help and serve. Their service was fast (maybe because it wasn't very crowded at that time and it was a buffet time not menu time). I didn't try the menu food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant for people who like Chinese-American normal buffet food and to those who care about really Halal food.

I come here quite often. Lunch time is pretty good. Buffet food depends on how hot it is. It is really hot and fresh today. Service is okay. Only 1 lady trying her best to serve the entire dining room. Will come back because my family likes halal Chinese.

Food is generally good. I have been eating at jamila for a while. Seen it go through different managements and of course Food Standards have also been up n down depending upon the management. Current management offers dual Cusine and you can enjoy Chinese and Indian / Pakistani food at one place for the same one price. Which makes it a strong plus point. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best here is how I rate it. Variety of food n choices: 5 Freshness of the food: 3 Cleanliness: 4 Taste of food: 4 Buffet price: 5 Quality of customer care: 5 - if I could give more I would have given it more. Although you don’t get great service from all the waiters but one guy David has always been outstanding. I ll give you an example on our last visit we felt the coke is flat or didn’t taste right and asked David if we can have can soda not knowing that they don’t carry can sodas. We saw David walking out of the restaurant n running. In short we had our can sodas on our table just after few mins. I have eaten at many restaurants and at times did receive flat sodas served to me and the most anyone has ever done is just called the manager or the owner and gave me credit for the soda or offered me a different flavor. This is the only time I have seen anyone taking service and customer satisfaction to this level. In my experience I have seen excellent waiters at few places only out of which I rate David of jamila garden Houston and All the waiters of Sabri Nehari Chicago. I think it’s really tough to beat them. Cuz they remember ur order pay attention to if you need Naan or if we are running out of soda etc. when we go out to eat it is for few reasons quality, variety and service. Jamila garden has good tasting food, variety and service. If they can figure out a way to keep the food fresh I think it is one of the best halal Food Restaurant in Houston area. Mention

I love this place! It has the best Chinese-halal food in the market. They have a variety of different things to choose from in the buffet, and I love them all. Make sure to come here if you are looking for some quality food to enjoy!
