October 2023:
Had 40 minutes before boarding and stopped by for a beer 🍺 and a small bite. Tried the spicy tuna sushi roll and a local IPA on tap.
Nice place to hangout at the airport. Good vibes and friendly service.
Overall, rating five ⭐ across the board. Airplane restaurants usually are not great. But this place seemed pretty good.
You cannot always find great places to eat in airports across the US. This one is pretty good if you like sushi. Service is fast where I was done in 30 minutes, perfect for my layover. As expected since it is in an airport, it is more expensive than other restaurants.
While we were waiting for our plane this restaurant hit the spot. The sushi rolls were tasty. As for the atmosphere, I can't really say much here since we were just waiting at our gate. The nice part though was the convenience of to-your-seat delivery.
20.00 for pancakes and 4.50 for coffee yikes! But it's an airport wcyd. The food was good if you can't help yourself getting off the plane. Friendly staff, wish they were this nice in Philly! 🤣
Had a few hours to kill while I waited for my layover at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and stumbled across Bam Bam as I made my way to my upcoming gate.
For a meal at an airport you could do a hell of a lot worse for quality. The broccoli and cauliflower were tossed in a delicious General Tso’s sauce, giving a hearty bowl of vegetable and grains extra vibrancy. And as this is simply a rice bowl with vegetables, you’re looking at an easy vegan, plant based meal in the airport!
To help both wash down my meal and also pass the time, I also picked up a bottle of Momokawa Sake. This bottle is the Momokawa Diamond, which is a medium dry with apple notes, giving the drink a lovely fall feeling.
Between the quality nutrients, the solid drink, and the interesting atmosphere, Bam Bam is a definitely worth a stop if you’ve got the time to spare! With a belly this full I’m sure to nap on the plane.
This place is a good choice for something a little different if you're getting tired of big American meals. Nice mix of flavors and a funky online tablet based ordering system. Quick and helpful staff. Wide range of drinks available but no Sake! Bit pricey but quality meals deserve it. If you're from Sydney it's cheap!
The decor catches your eye from across the airport and when you're inside it's easy to forget you're even in the airport. Service was very fast and friendly, with accessible seating and iPad to order on. Drinks were great, food was great and vegan and gluten free options!! Big win all around
Fairly healthy variety of options, very good service and a fast option in Terminal C. From rolls to sandwiches, appetizers and a good variety of cocktails. Portions are good size. I would recommend one of the rice bowls.
Gluten Free at the airport. How awesome was it to find out they cook with gluten free soy sauce and many of the appetizers and entrees are available as safe for celiacs and those sensitive to or avoiding gluten. Our first time here and we are impressed with the speed of service, the quality of the food and overall experience.
Order right from the table or bar via an iPad, pay at the seat. Swipe stations for cards. Multiple outlets for charging phones and other devices.
Definitely check them out if you are in Terminal D by Gate 10 when traveling. A definite repeat visit is in the works.
BAM! You got a drink. BAM! You got some food. BAM! You got some dessert. BAM! You’re on your way.
