My first time to visit IAH and it was a great experience. I love the variety of seafoods, vegetables and meet. I was craving for seafoods and this was the best dining that satisfied my cravings. Awesome.
Best Chinese Buffet in Houston. You have to know what to expect from this kind of place. It's a large Chinese buffet place. The dining hall is about the size of a large high school cafeteria. The food is about typical for buffet. Not great, but certainly not bad. What makes it the best? The food is fresh, replenished frequently so that it doesn't just sit there and cook under the heat lamp. There is a large variety of entree items. Ten bucks buys you all you can eat. For me, the only down side is that the table service is very slow. Still, when I'm hungry for Chinese buffet, I will go to Lam Bo.
You can't fault the place for what it is. It is a high volume, Americanized Chinese buffet. The food is decent for a quick meal.
Delicious food from fresh out-of-the-oven buns, to spring rolls, sushi, salad bar, cheese quesedillas, and different types of meat. Well worth the money. The inside is very modern looking and the staff is very nice.
Loved the food! I will be back as my diet allows. About service the people were very good, actualy offered things before I asked. I asked to use WiFi as I am from out of country and was told it was just for boss. On Atmosphere there are things to work on. The landscaping outside needs a days work. Beautiful water feature 3 pools with waterfall not working, might need surface repairs. Trim bushes, cut grass, pick up trash from roadway. Inside the walls and vertical surfaces need to be cleaned/wiped. All food areas were clean, just sitting areas and bathroom walls. Oh, I could not believe the price. Great value! I liked the very large fish tank with many types of fish. There were many people when I was there. About 50%capacity on a Monday late lunch.
Great service the staff are amazing, they keep the restaurants well-kept and clean. The food is also fresh and tastes great. They were bringing new portions every 15 minutes or so. The selection is a bit lackluster but the quality is good. Best buffet in the area by far.
I love it here. I see not that many people like it, but maybe it holds a special place in my heart because I’ve been going there since I was a kid. I also always get the same three things, the lo mein, curry chicken, and Mac and cheese. My favorite combo lol. Their selection has gone down over the years for sure, though, but my same three choices remain, so I still love it.
I went there after shopping at Hobby Lobby as it is very close to there..across the parking lot actually) and the atmosphere, food, and my Server were all so wonderful! The restaurant is nice and spacious. The foods were fresh and hot; and the desserts are delicious...as well as my coffee!! My Servers (Ms. Elva/Elba) was more than awesome and attentive to my table!! I recommend and will return
It was a lunch visit to this place and I consider it a very comfortable and casual experience. I was able to eat lunch with my family in a decent level of quietness considering the place being a buffet and the amount of people that were also in the restaurant area. We were serve by a waiter very attentive who kept checking on us without being intrusive throughout our time there. The food was well cooked, not overly hot, clean plates, clean table, overall a great environment and experience. 😊
I normally go here on the weekdays with my boyfriend so the price for each of us is relatively cheaper. And the price is honestly super great for its quality, it's not too loud inside the restaurant, the food is decent, some are actually incredible. Would highly recommend
It’s a buffet, what can I say. I enjoy the options offered which makes this a great place for our office to have lunch together. Not so into Asian food, no problem there’s pizza along with Mac and cheese. Of the Asian options I personally love the egg drop soup and sushi.
Found this place from google maps and decided to eat here based on some reviews and the short distance from my location. We were passing through from out of town. This facility is very nice from the inside, it is clean and has lots of seating. As you walk in they have a host that will seat you. They have this beautiful fish tank with bright colored fish. As soon as we sat down, the waitress took our drink order and pointed out the buffet. On the buffet line, they do not have much to choose from. Based from what I served myself, the lo mein was made with spaghetti noodles so the taste was kind of off. The orange chicken was dry and burnt. The other food looked fresh such as the broccoli beef, pork chops, fried rice, ect.. I like the set up they had. On one section they had all the soups which looked good, on the other end they had the pizza, by pizza I mean pizzeria pizza, not your average tostino’s oven pizza like they have at other restaurants. The Sushi bar has a lot of variety and sushi tastes good. They have desserts galore and ice cream. Overall it is not the greatest Chinese buffet, but it was not bad. The service was great, and the price was not bad. Time of visit was about 2PM.
Always a family favorite... Never disappoints. Just as good as it was 20 years ago when my family first started celebrating family achievements.
I was greeted with the smiling face by wonderful gentleman and I appreciate the help and the wonderful atmosphere that's there the food is good but not bad I would rate the quality good enough to take your family if you're looking not to cook that day
