The Egg & I Restaurant

We arrived there around 9:30am, friday morning. Barely anyone there, we were seated in a booth near the front within 2 minutes of arrival. My husband got summer waffle delight and omelette plate. I got the hickers benedict. We both agree out sides (ranch potatoes and bacon) needed to be hotter, our main course was hot. Weird temperature thing going on with the food. The main course was delicious!

Every Egg & I I have tried is usually consistent in quality. The staff is always great. Went to this location on a Saturday @ 1:45 pm. The eggs and bacon were good. The only disappointment I have is that the oatmeal pancake was not completely done in the center and the batter seemed bland. Could have been just the time of day or the cook may have been tired, I don’t know. Everything else was great though. I ordered the oatmeal pancake because I tried one at another location and it was very good. Everyone is allowed an "off" day. Will try'em again.

This one is going to be a little long. This was my first time in this establishment. My daughter is turning 19 today so I treated her to a birthday breakfast . This place is always full of people and rumor had it that the food was a bit pricey but definitely worth the bang. So in we went around 8:30 a.m. this beautiful Sat. The very first thing we saw from an employee was a pleasant smile with a refreshing greeting from a young lady in the front doorway. She showed us to the table; we told her it was our first time here, she complimented the entree's and set us with an extremely friendly and humble server named Corey who was also a delight . He explained the preparation of our meals and was attentive to our drinks and needs. The food was PERFECT; seasoned and absolutely delicious. We had the California Avocado skillet and the Breakfast Deluxe sandwich; it was so good we also ordered a Mexican Omelette, Sausage & Gravy Biscuit platter, cup of fresh fruit and another Breakfast Deluxe to go (which were all superb as well). My other observation (which is my personal favorite) was overhearing positive words of encouragement to the team of servers, cooks and bus table people from a lady. Noticing the reaction of the employees when motivated with kind and encouraging words they (well the ones I saw) were all smiling, humbling themselves to us (the customers) and communicating in a fast paced environment with ease and professionalism led by the GM of this location (Leslie ) which is the name of the lady I saw and heard leading her establishment. She greeted myself and daughter with an envelope and informed me not to open it for 30 days; return to the location and receive the prize, (a winner every time) this is a genius marketing strategy, not only does it keep us closer together as a community but it shows us (the community) who appreciates our business. This establishment displays positive vibes from the moment you get out of your vehicle, eat a well freshly prepared meal, served with dedication all the to the point of check out. I recommend this establishment and all of its team members as a place to take your family to enjoy yourselves by an establishment that appreciates you!

Went for breakfast before church. Was a great experience. Clean, friendly staff, and fresh food that came out hot. Plenty of coffee refills. And our waitress made the experience for our 1 yr old daughter enjoyable and entertaining. Love the place.

This location has really improved over the past few months. We had stopped going here because the food kept getting worse & worse. Glad we decided to return as the food was fresh & not overcooked. Service was pleasant and prompt.
