(Austin location) I was looking for a new Mediterranean place and I was impressed. I got a gyro special and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I noticed there were people there enjoying the food, which is a great sign. This will be my new favorite spot.

Food was worth the new experience. In would try it again just didn't like how they didn't really have anything to drink also it was hot inside

When I tell you this restaurant goes ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure customers have a great experience: I 100% mean that! The customer service is TOP TIER and they value their customer’s wants and needs. The chicken shawarma with the different sauces are banging. I would eat this for lunch any and every day if I could. I want to give a special shout out to Melody for treating my guests and i with love and respect. You’ve got to try this place you guys!
This place is great to eat at and even dine in. It is kinda expensive but when you want great food you have to pay some money. You know the saying "you get what you pay for." Anyways, this was my first time going here and the experience was great. I ordered a kabob sandwich which came with onion but I can't eat any of the vegetables on it since I'm pregnant. I explained to the server about my problem and he didn't even trip. He gave me a new sandwich with only the things I could eat and let me keep the other sandwich. Although I still ended up wasting the old one since as I said, couldnt eat it. But someone this kind deserves to be noticed. He was also very kind and understanding. Great place! Great food! expensive but they give you a lot so it's worth it. I also ordered fries and they gave A LOT of that.

Went super late - past 1 IIRC - but food was great and really nothing to complain about. Slightly sketch location but there was a cop inside and it really doesn't matter. Would recommend for a late night option.
We placed an order online via postmates and it was ready on time! The pick up was flawless and the portion size amazing. The falafel and chicken sandwich were absolutely delicious however the chicken shawarma over rice was just ok. It lacked seasoning as well as the chicken was dry and chewy. Other than that no complaints!
The burger was great, my husband loves them. We always stop here on my cancer appointment.

I love this place; the food is amazing! Two years ago, I visited this spot, and now, after two years, I traveled from Fort Worth, TX, to Houston. During my trip, I made sure to stop by Abu Omar's restaurant, and God-willing, I plan to visit there again soon, inshallah.
