Remember that scene in the movie Ratatouille where the food critic is transported to a memory through the taste of the food? That is what happens when Moody Ice makes flavors. That weekend at the 5 star spa in New Mexico is the cucumber ice, that hike in the Oregon mountains to the waterfall is the blackberry basil. It isn't just amazing flavors, it's art.
Moody Ice catered my daughter's 26th birthday party. I sampled the watermelon mint and was hooked. Since the party Friday night I have treated myself each of the past two days to the tasty treat. It's low calorie, nondairy (unless you add ice cream), it's made of natural fruit and most of all delicious.
I had the Pinã Colada flavored ice with a scoop of Ice Cream , condensed milk, & pineapples! It was so delicious! My hubby had berry it was good but mine was the best! The staff was so friendly & had us trying out different flavors including one with spice which had a pretty good taste too! We will definitely be returning here!
This place is amazing. Went with my sister and 3 year old for the first time and we all loved the place. I love how kid friendly it is. They have games, toys, and coloring books available for the customers. My 3 year old was entertained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the hibiscus moody ice, my sister the chocolate covered banana moody ice, and my son had the chocolate banana smoothie. We will definitely return to try other flavors.

Shaved ice with organic flavors and real fruit toppings. Blueberry or tiger blood is something u wont regret for. Great atmosphere kind-off hipster lookin place to hangouts with friends and family lots of games to pick nd play also have a great customer service.
Delicious and fresh, well, as fresh as frozen can get.
We ordered the peach basil, lemon lavender and peach basil/strawberry habanero combo.
All three were delicious and tasted like their real fruit counterparts.
Be careful of the strawberry habanero, it has a late bite.
This place is adorable. Loved the decor. We ordered the Mango Hawaiian ice. It was pretty good but a little overpriced.
Compelling flavor combinations of the store's eponymous Moody ice selections and the comfort food-like satisfaction of shaved Hawaiian ice specialities layered with smooth ice cream and morsels like blueberries and basil make this place a special place to cool off in Houston.
Tiger's Blood moody ice was delicious! It's not just syrup on ice (Hawaiian shaved ice) but actually ice that is flavored, which was unexpected but pleasantly surprising. Great customer service too - they let us try all different kinds of flavors. Although nitially the price was a bit of a shock, it's comparable to other places in the area, and the flavor is certainly fresh, which beats the synthetic flavors at other places in the area. The menu board and pricing was a little confusing, but my husband understood it, and he's smarter than me ;)
Such a unique little shaved ice shop. They have all sorts of very interesting flavors made from real fruit. We have a small for $6 with hisbiscus and lemon lavender combination with a scoop of icecream and blue berries. I love that the flavors are so natural and not artificial. Very hipster and cool place to hang out or play games with friends. Environment is clean and employees are very friendly. It’s definitely worth a visit if you love snow cones. I will definitely be back.
We discovered this when searching for shaved ice without HFCS. The shop is small but adorable and the young man who helped us was extremely nice. We tried cherry-lime and tiger's blood. The tiger's blood was light and refreshing with a hint of green - cucumber maybe? The cherry lime was tart and delicious topped with chunks of pineapple.
It's not cheap but the Moody Ice is house made and the service is really great, especially compared to our last experience at Mam's.
Been here 3 Times already and have not had a bad flavor. The young ladies behind the counter are always very helpful and nice. Flavors are rotated often but hands down best ice I've had is the Blackberry Hawaiian Ice pictured below👌
