I love it, gotta try that monk rice. Keep hearing good things about it. They are packed on Friday's during lent.
We have been eating here since 1991. Never had 1 complaint. My Order Is Always Correct & The Food Is Always On Point! That sandwich has 2 Whole Trout Filets on it. Who Else Does That??? Well Worth any line or wait time! The Monk Rice is A Fool... Fresh Fish or You Buy We Fry, 1 Plate or a Wedding Reception, T.P's is on it! They have fed Many parties for us! We don't even eat anybody else's fish. Every time we've tried to, We Wished We Had Went To T.P's!!!

Well even though we got there a little late they still served us the food was great the shrimps were awesome. And I was visiting my mother and helping out when she was moving had a big thing of fish fries and even my first time ever having Chris nuggets very good I had her for breakfast too.

Very well seasoned & fresh food! Prices not too bad, I can say you get a little more fish if you have ever been to Navy Seafood, but the taste was awesome! The environment is the hood ,but it's all good! I will buy again!
We stumbled upon this place and I’m so happy we did. The owner (I’m assuming) was outside the counter and she was super nice!
The food was AMAZING! We got fish which included the catfish, reddish, and snapper. Yes I know we went overboard. I heard about the monk rice which they stopped serving at 10 pm. (We had just gotten there around 10:15) All in all were very impressed. We will return. Additionally they were cleaning and disinfecting everything down when we arrived. That’s a great sign!
Purchased food for my mother. She really enjoyed her meal. Her fish was hot and crispy. The fries and salad made the meal complete. Her Sprite soda was cold and bubbly.
The food and service is awesome!! I promise 🙏 the MONK fried rice will have you coming back like a addict! Lol
The guy that works behind the counter has the voice of a MOVIE STAR! there is two of them and they are the very best everrrrrrr!
Their food is real good and the people that take your order it's very nice it is a little crowded but if you can deal with that their food is real good. They rice and their fish. I will recommend this to anyone who come to Houston
