We order from this place through UberEats on a weekly basis. My son says they are his #1 choice for chicken waffles. The chicken tenders are always seasoned well. We love the fries and onion rings. The crab hush puppies are my absolute favorite. I'm still making my way down the menu but my kids order the same thing every week!

I saw a review from one of my neighborhood yelpers, Belly. Since, we work in the same area, anytime he finds a new place, I usually have to try it. This one was a bit unique. I honestly, didn't read his review at the time, only his star rating and bookmarked it. When arriving at the corner, I then realized it's the restaurant that is connected to the shell at Yale and Crosstimbers. I have actually driven pass this shell many times before.
When we entered they have a few menus at the front. The chicken and waffles had me right away. With that order it comes with 3 tenders and a waffle. I added an order of the blue crab hush puppies. The hush puppies came out first and must say these things are addicting. Might be my favorite thing of the whole meal.
As far as the waffle, it came out warm, not hot, the only reason I say that, is it needs to be hot for the butter to melt. The tenders came out hot, but not so hot that you burn your mouth off the oil, so a good temperature.
The tenders were finished off with cajun seasoning? very tasty, tender, and juicy. I dipped it in the honey mustard, which was just OK.
Overall, solid tenders, no on the level of cane's but the blue crab hush puppies are out of this world!
My favorite chicken in the world! I'd probably only go here during the day, but it's delicious. Can't give any recommendations, because I would just be reading you the menu! Lol :)
Omg the tacos are the best. I recommend El Jefe from the menu and chicken tenders are superyummy. Great food!!
