This place has some good breakfast. The tortillas are soft, warm, and huge! I ordered and was super satisfied with the service and taste of the food. Get the warm green salsa, it taste great with just a little bit of kick. I will come back soon!
Great authentic Mexican food in the East End.This is my parents favorite place for breakfast. We lived out here on Avenue F some 50 years ago when I was a kid . It's always an adventure driving my parents here and around the area while they tell stories about growing up on this side of town. The barbacoa plate is my favorite in the city. Homemade corn & flour tortillas( burrito sized flour tortillas!) aquas frescas are delicious. Great coffee and service. Parents always go for the Huevos Rancheros, the salsa rancheros is the bomb!! Love this place !
Long time loyal here that only visits every other month. Would have gave them 5 stars but minus one star because ive been there on several ocasiones lately and they dont have mineral water 😭. And also who drinks diet coke anymore, they need to add Coke Zero to their drink menu..
Ordered a side of carne guisada for $4 and it literally came with 4 little tiny squares of meet 😑.. I did complain and ask for more even if there was an additional charge because it was delicious and the waitress hooked it up..
Main dish was the chicharron and eggs, some of the chicharrones where super hard.. all in all it was good but it could’ve been great like other times in the past.
We have breakfast here every weekend. Their food is delicious - authentic freshly cooked Mexican food. Did I mention how HUGE their flour Tortillas are? My Sunday morning go to place...
Cafe de Olla is delicious
Menudo was good it just needed more granos for me. It's our 2nd time going but we'll definitely be back again.
Food was great, wish it was closer to where I live though. The day we went it was hot out so it was super hot inside the restaurant. But service and food was great. Their café de olla was delicious, I will definitely return when it’s cool out.
Casa Morales was delicious! Family owned restaurant you can definitely feel that vibe. Amazing customer service. Food is family approved from my 1 year old, my 7 year old husband and myself 😉 It was very reasonably priced. It’s a must try we are coming back with the rest of the family! Authentic food with great service. Menudo reminds me of my mom's homemade dish and comes in clutch for la cruda(the hangover). Will definitely be making it one of my top restaurants to visit in Houston.
Very good food in tha hood. Extremely clean . Awsum customer service and the flour tortillas r huge. I recommend the sampler . Now this is real Mexican food.
Great Mexican food at a good price, their handmade flour tortillas are some of the best in town. If you are looking for a good breakfast, this is the place to go. Place is a lithe small but well distributed for seating.
