Mad Restaurant

I don't think I could say enough to convey what an awesome experience it was eating at MAD. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff was the same. Our waters never emptied, and the tables were cleaned as we were served. The food is some of the best I have ever had, especially the duck. I would highly recommend checking out MAD, I can't wait to get back for more!

Had my birthday dinner at Mad last night. Had a great time! We chose to do the "astronaut tasting menu". Alejandro and Coleman took GREAT care of us. This place is fun! Food was fantastic, what a variety! Thanks for a great night Mad peeps!

Went with a group and ordered the tasting menu. Service was amazing and wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is unique and they are very proud of all the Spanish heritage and how it influences the decor. MAD is representative of a flight to Madrid, Spain. Don't miss the photo op on the way to the bathroom. The plating and dish presentation was stunning and unique. Everything in the reteraunt is meant to arrest your gaze and speak on. Unfortunately, our party agreed that, while the presentation was fun and high dollar, there was no particular dish that stood out, as far as taste was concerned. It was a great place to experience once, but not a place worth returning for any food in particular. We still enjoyed and were not disappointed.

This has been on my list to try for a while and today was finally the day! What better way to celebrate than with an early Girlfriend “Linner” (Lunch/Dinner). This place is so whimsical! Lots of things that don’t quite make sense but then make total sense. We were seated and immediately greeted by our lovely waiter who gave us drink recommendations and a run down of the menu. It’s a tapas place but they also have larger shareable items. We tried the Hamachi, foie gras with berries, bone marrow and caviar. They were beautifully presented and so very flavorful! The hamachi and the foie gras were my personal favorites so much so we got them again! Of the shareable items on the middle of the menu we tried the Lobster Carpaccio, which was a bit salty but bright and had a lot of flavor. I wish there was more lobster on the plate. We had a party of 4 and to get the most you might need to order two! We also ordered the Spanish Pulpo. The pieces that we had were on the thicker side so they were a little tough but again not lacking in flavor at all. It had some crunch with the panko breading which was a nice bit of texture since octopus in general can be a bit one note. We also tried the iberico ham which was good. Our waiter recommended we try it with cheese which really elevated the dish and evened out the natural saltiness of the ham. For entree’s we had the Branzino and the paella with lamb chops. Both were spectacular. I’m a bit picky when it comes to paella. I was fortunate to have authentic paella on a trip to Spain and I have yet to have it as good as it was then…until now! It was spectacular! The rice was well balanced and had a good chew, but those little crispy bits at the bottom…wowzer!!! Just the perfect consistency! The lamb was great but I think next time I would try it with the branzino or lobster and shrimp added instead. For dessert we tried the huevos voladores and the churros. I really enjoyed the different textures of the first dessert. It also looks like something out of a Sci Fi movie. Almost too unique to eat! The passionfruit mousse was the perfect tart addition to the dessert and well churros are a fan favorite. A lot of times people mess them up by making them too dense and oily. These were perfectly light and crispy with the most wonderful dark chocolate dipping sauce. This dining experience was really firing on all cylinders. I will definitely be back! Side note: you should really go check out the bathroom. That was a pretty neat experience!

Had a great experience. Our waitress was Imani and she directed us right where we needed to be. The drinks 🍹 were perfect and meal suggestions were right on. Steak tartare. Tequila Squeeze was 👌🏽. They made us a special peach mule and the grilled octopus 🐙 was delicious. We would have enjoyed the entire menu if we had more time!
