If you want to have great breakfast tacos this is the place. They make flour tortillas by hand and in front of you. This place is just fresh and will be the best taco for the buck. They are closed on Sunday’s and often run out of some breakfast items early. But I highly recommend grabbing a few if you are in the area you will not regret it. They also offer lunch and dinner items if you are looking for that.
Purchased these February 2923 at Publix in Florida. I love tamales so making them was simple. Their instructions are easy enough. Add a little hot sauce, and some sides and you’re all set. Very authentic Mexican Tamales.
I love the Texas Tamale Co. deli/cafe. The food is always great, served fresh, and it’s a great bargain. I always get the four tamales plate. Their chipotle pepper sauce is amazing, sweet, smoky, and just a little spicy. Such a great flavor for any food, I use it in pasta sauce, on chicken, on eggs, on skillet potatoes, on everything.
Although a bit smaller than expected, these tamales are packed with flavor. I ordered two dozen of both the HATCH GREEN CHILE and PORK in addition to a dozen SPINICH & a dozen BEEF. I also ordered the 16 oz HOMESTYLE CHILI, 16 oz CHILE CON QUESO and TEXAS LOOP PORK/BEEF/CHEDDAR sausage. Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend The TEXAS TAMALE COMPANY. Just as I have done in the past, I will continue to call upon THE TEXAS TAMALE COMPANY to fulfill my tamale needs until I'm able to escape Pennsylvania and find my way back to Texas.
Side Note: Customer service was outstanding as evidenced by Miss Cristina Flores. Though no fault of THE TEXAS TAMALE COMPANY, my order did not arrive as scheduled due to an error on FED EX end. I contacted FED EX and received no assistance whatsoever. I then emiled Miss Flores who immediately responded and resolved my issue. She is a true asset to THE TEXAS TAMALE COMPANY.
The fact that Texas Tamale Co. is sold in COSTCO, Target, Walmart, etc. speaks volumes. These are great tamales. Small? Yes. Delicious? YES!
I purchase these regularly from any of the afore mentioned grocers. My small children love them, and I love that they are lard-free and super easy to prepare for a quick meal (I steam these).
We have tried the chicken and the beef. The chicken is very mild and my kids prefer the chicken. We adults love the kick of the beef. As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) I prepare 2 packages of these and have leftovers the next day.
Once more flavors become available in Michigan, I will gladly give them a try.

I buy 20 dozen to freeze and bring back to Florida every year. I've purchased spicy beef & spicy pork. Both are great, flavorful and not dry.
I do not care for tamales that are mainly masa or one chunk of beef.

I've been to this place twice in the past month to pick up tamales for different events. Everyone has loved them and all of the ones I've tried thus far have been great. The hatch Chile ones are by far my favorite. If you are getting them to go, you can buy the tamales in half or full dozen. They also reheat very well and are affordable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is craving tamales or is wanting to pick some up for dinner or a party.
I came here to pickup some items for my wife's job. It is a very small place, but well organized. I did not have to wait long to make my order. They got my order out right away. I spent less than 5 minutes in there. My wife and her co-workers enjoyed the tamales that I ordered for them. They also had a very decent price point. I would definitely go there again.
I came specifically for the menudo, but they aren't serving it anymore! What a shame. Got four barbacoa tacos instead. They updated and decreased the number of items on their menu. Very friendly staff, and awesome homemade tortillas.
I loved this place. Fresh tamales and quickly made. This place is amazing. I definitely recommend this if you have never been. They serve fairly good sized portions and the staff is very accommodating. My kids eat the tamales here by the dozen.
