It was my 11 year old Granddaughter's first visit to a Hibachi Restaurant. We spent the night near by and was glad to find this easy to get to. The Waitress was Fantastic. the Food was prepared in front of us and was Very Good! The chief was a little on the older side and he fumbled a little. Not a lot of personality, sorta boring, BUT still she and we enjoyed it. The steaks were cooked perfect, also the rice and chicken, Over all it was well worth it.. Like I said the waitress made it enjoyable. It was my granddaughter Birthday outing so they sang Happy Birthday to her in Japanese and also in English. They gave her a Chief's hat and a dish of Ice-cream Sundae. It cost a bit more that any Fast Food, but for her to experience it,, Priceless! I will go back next time in Houston.
The food was good and fresh. This is the first time I've been back, since now I live in Katy. It was as tasty as I remembered years back when I used to work at 59/Weslayan. Fix the ladies restroom doors, and clean out your pond (chopsticks thrown in there, and a headless turtle made the restaurant feel in need of some. TLC). Waitress was friendly, wish our chef had done at least 1 food trick for my kiddos.
Went my first time with a friend who treated me for Christmas! We loved it! We had a great time! We had the Tex-Jap steak & scallops with shrimp. The staff was very friendly, the entertainment & food was great! The prices were reasonable, we will be back! Thank you & have a Merry Christmas!
Was awesome experience experience, guy made me a margarita and i don’t even think they sell margaritas and it wasn’t bad. The guy at the bar don’t remember his name but young guy said he was new made sure I was token care of and met the executive chef, it was awesome to see him and made sure I was token care of so beyond service was awesome and food was awesome. I will be back with friends.
GREAT lunch specials!!! My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday and we ordered Plate B (omg so good) and with that came 3 rolls of sushi. You get to pick a starter too and we decided to get the crab puffs. All for $10!!!! It was incredible. We only got one plate because it was so much food, and such good quality.
We had a wonderful time here! We took a large group for a young girls birthday and she and the rest of us had a great time. She loved the food but I would say it's ok but the main reason to go here is for the entertainment value. It's a good young family outing, everyone gets fed and entertained at the same time. They cook in front of you and at the end the chef goes around and plays a game called basketball where he pops a small piece of zucchini into the air and you try and catch it in your mouth. Everyone gets a turn and so it's lot's of fun for all.
Truly one of my favorite restaurants on the entire city. Been here many times. The food is always delicious and on point. Perfect place to take a date or go with a group of people. Very fun atmosphere. Usually has live music playing in the background while we enjoy the chefs preparing our meals in front of us. I always get the hibachi steak with veggies and fried or white rice with an asahi beer to go down. Can't go wrong.! Basically if you love benihannas..you'll love this place. The wait though is probably the only thing I'll complain about.

Tokyohana has been around the block a time or two serving up excellent Teppanyaki-style food along with sushi for nearly two decades. The service is always great and the sushi is enjoyable too. Bring a group because the best experience at this restaurant is always with a large number of guests.
The food is very good. The atmosphere is nice but dated. Overall we had fun and would come back. The selection was great. I have no idea why some really bad reviews are on here, that's absurd.
