It's nice to have a Starbucks in the Village again. As a new location, they are equipped to make the nitro cold brew, something that older locations just won't be able to do. If you haven't had it, it really reminds me of a cross between coffee and beer. It's a bit odd, but there are many who really love it. They were willing to let me sample it as well. While it isn't the biggest Starbucks or the one with the most seats, it is reasonable and provides a ton of outlets, making this the perfect place to get some work done.
I love this particular StarBucks. For the last several months, it has been easily accessible because of its proximity to both school and home. I have spent many a pleasant evening, occupying one of the tables and sipping some fanciful coffee drink. The staff are always very pleasant and are happy to make recommendations, if you are interested in sampling some new beverage. It can get a bit busy, particularly in the late afternoons, but that is a function of its location and the immense popularity of the StarBucks brand.
This Rice Village Starbucks is one of the bigger stores in town. The store was one of the sponsors of the Rice Village Spring Street Festival which was held on the street in front of the store today (04/07/2018). Highlights of the festival were the five fashion shows, four of the fashion shows were modelled by four local fashion bloggers and one high school student, each show sponsored by a store in the Rice Village. The last show was a dog fashion show featuring different dog breeds.
I will say that this is a great Starbucks branch in Houston overall. One reason is that it is in the Rice Village area and the options are so many there. The other is the seating area that is outside. It is also not so busy, but it sometimes gets busier than usual.
Friendly starbucks
Quick service, especially during morning rush hour.
The staff is supper nice.
They have a lot of snack items that other starbucks don’t carry.
Huge lobby area with plenty of sitting to study, chat, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.
The service was fine, but there was a lot of people which I don't mind but I think that is why they were not asking for names, so once they shout out the drinks people look at each other and were hoping not to grab other people's drinks.. And the drink well.. As good as it is on any starbucks
For chain coffee, this location has it down. Get a clover brewed coffee while you are there and you will not be disappointed. The barista's are also super friendly and on top of their game.
Vefriendly and fast service. Came in on Veteran's Day and got a free coffee. Also found out that one of the owners served too. Great to hear, Happy Veteran's Day to you and thanks a lot for the drink.
Awesome place. It's a shame that they close at 9PM
awesome service but barely has any tables and seats and always packed but if you are lucky enough to get a spot to sit the internet here is probably the fastest of any Starbucks I've been to
