I've from the midwest and I've been in Houston for a week teaching a class. I've tried to stay away from the fried food, but when you want some fried oysters you got to have some fried oysters. I Searched the web to try and find someplace that I was paying for the food not the fern. I put my money on this place and it paid off big time. Perfect oysters, great red fish, kind of a sweet coleslaw (that I really liked) and fried boudin balls. This is now my go to place for seafood when I'm in town. It looks much better on the inside and I'll be back for some crawfish this weekend.
Really enjoy their grilled menu, the fried shrimp was very good. Don't let the outside of the building detour you away. Restaurant is very clean and family friendly. Highly recommend!
Fresh food and very welcoming staff working there. Love this place 😍😍😍highly recommend it to anyone who love to eat. Very Affordable prices and extremely tasty food. Sometime even customize for me. I am so glad they are back open. Ordered the grilled stuffed salmon and veggies. I could only eat half. Lunch for tomorrow.
Great value! Great food! The grilled red fish and shrimp is so delicious. The veggies are perfectly steamed. I always sub the rice for a baked potato and would suggest you do the same. The fried fish and fries was always a favorite of mine too. I started ordering the grilled for health reasons. Support locally owned businesses!!! You won't be disappointed.
We've eaten here twice within a week! That says something for us!! Everything we have tried has been delicious! The service has been over the top! Fresh, hot food with a quiet, low-key atmosphere. Hubby had the fried catfish and shrimp special both times. I had the grilled large shrimp one time and the grilled redfish with shrimp one time! The fried calamari is the perfect appetizer! Both times they came out quickly, fresh & hot with a delicious light batter. Not greasy at all! Even after they sat in a take out box, they were still fresh and delicious!
The restaurant was very clean and I-10 access was quick and convenient! Keep up the great food and service, Texas Seafood! We'll be back!!

First time trying and overwhelmed with how good this food is, I'm from Louisiana so I know good food. If I could have rated 6 stars I would have definitely recommend. I got the fish and shrimp combo by the way
The food and service are really good. Never had a problem with either one. Me and my husband enjoyed our lunch there. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice. Will go back again. Really enjoyed the fried shrimp plate. Great price's.

That said, I ordered from the 'specials' menu and was pleasantly surprised. I had the seafood linguini, that was served prompt and hot! (kudos) I was surprised to see only a half dozen other diners @ 6pm. Very nice atmosphere. Very tasty, fresh, hot food. Would recommend.
Absolutely amazing food. If you have not been here you must go. They girl who took my order was so nice. They deserve 10 stars. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
