Afternoon visit for appetizers and cocktails. Seating outside a plus! Always nice at the Baybrook Mall Lawn. Everything was great as usual.
We came this Saturday for brunch and were shocked it wasn’t packed! Great food, great service, awesome all around! I got Louie’s breakfast and my husband got the raging hangover meal, (both were incredible) then we shared mimosa pitcher (can’t go wrong). $2 mimosas, $15 pitchers, reasonable prices for food that surpassed expectations and an amazing waitress named Sarah, 10/10 will be returning!
We stopped by for a drink while waiting for our movie to start. Place had a good vibe and atmosphere. We sat on the balcony and had great service.
My coworkers and I went to Bar Louie for the first time, and we had a great experience! Our waitress, Louise, was the absolute best! She was very attentive despite all that was going on. Our drinks stayed in rotation as well as our food orders. There wasn't a long wait for anything, and she made sure our table wasn't cluttered with dishes that were no longer being used!
Great atmosphere and attentive bartenders! My girl just had a lot of dental work and was purchasing mac & cheese so as not to cause pain and bartender was awesome and made recommendations for altering the plate so it would be gentle on her mouth and it was GOOD! The Funky Monkey martini was delicious as was the Flatbread pizza!
Bar Louie is an overpriced place to get watered down drinks to accompany boring bar food. Decent berry margaritas. In fairness I prefer a calmer atmosphere. Perhaps the hustle and bustle of maneuvering around mall traffic to park left me with a bad first impression. Staff was attentive and charming.

The last couple of times I came to this location was more positive than negative. One time I came here, I ordered online.
I ordered fried pickles and an order of Buffalo Wings. The Fried Pickles was crispy, and the batter was seasoned very well, probably in my top 3 best fried pickles I've ever had. It came with a spicy ranch, it wasn't too spicy, a perfect amount of kick of spice in the ranch. I'll get that again.
The one thing I would never get again, though, is the buffalo wings. It looked burnt, and when I bit into the wing, it was dry. I had plenty of wings. Some wings were so saucy that you could lick your fingers and the plate/basket. Not these wings, it looked like the sauce was coated before frying. I will not get that again because I had better buffalo wings.
Today, on the other hand, I came there after work and tried the Martini of the Month, the Grand Lemon Drop. It was so good, I had 3. I also had a great bartender name, Devin. He's was busy, but his service was absolutely on point. So if you're here on the weekends, go see Devin! The ambiance is like a party club/ sports bar all day long. Will return.
Excellent happy hour specials (pictured)!! Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. His suggestions were spot on. We sat outside on a cool 52 degree evening but the outdoor heated worked like a charm to keep us cozy without needing our jackets. Clean restrooms, spacious seating inside and out, large bar, and the décor is pleasant as well.
Fun place. We’ve gone several times with friends. Staff is friendly. Love the Salmon salad.

Bar Louie is a quaint local establishment that offers an ample dining area and fabulously equipped bar. I particularly enjoy grabbing a seat in the upper floor since it supplies a more private and charming atmosphere, which is specially rewarding whenever they retract the windows in order to let dinners enjoy the view from its small terrace. I have not tried the menu extensively, but I can attest to the amazing quality of their burger menu because each meal I've eaten has been generously packed with quality ingredients and served with an equally large serving of fries/ tater tots. There has never been a time where I've left this establishment feeling unhappy or dissatisfied. The servers are also polite and attentive to the needs of the dinners. It is a great place overall.
Side note: If you wish to try the burger menu, consider going on a Tuesday. You will find a pleasant surprise.
