I had a great lunch here, Hellen was super sweet and very attentive! Service was top notch
I did HRW (Houston Restaurant week)lunch menu
Fried gyoza, Pork rice plate, and Mango panna cotta, all were pretty good.
The appetizer and dessert were my fave.
Give the place a try!
Great place! I started with the Creamy Wontons. Real Crab meat, not imitation like you get at some places. Fried to perfection. For the main course, I had the Vermicelli with the Grilled Pork. It was very well done. The pork was well spiced with just the right amount of crisp around the edges. The Vermicelli was cooked perfectly. The egg roll was crispy on the outside and very tasty on the inside.
It's a very nice place with a casual atmosphere. Our waitress was very good. It was a great time!
My wife and I came here to eat and we used to come here but it has changed to a new name and environment.
We decided to stay and eat and my wife got Pho and I ate the Bum Bo Hue. Both were excellent and they nailed the tastes and broth but my Bom Bo Hue was missing the blood and pork foot that is a usual in the dish and it was to the first time ever served the dish that didn't have these ingredients.
We just laughed at this as we know most American taste would eschew this and they were cooking with an American view of the dish. Now I will say they were very good dishes and they nailed the tastes and would recommend others and we will also come back.
This place is awesome. The food and drinks are superb. The service was really good too. 5 stars all day. Loved the pho, a lot of places don’t get it right, this place gets it.
This has become my new favorite restaurant in the area, I am always so hungry when I come in that I always forget to take pictures! The pho here is super yummy, and I love the spinach in oyster sauce (they changed it to broccoli and I like it less but it's still good, just a little bitter)! I've had their wonton soup, their spring rolls, and their Bánh mì sandwitches, loved all of them (smaller portions). We also are obsessed with all of their desserts, the bingsu was incredible (we've had the strawberry, the fruity pebbles, and the oreo), the boba is so good, the creme brulee is so creamy, the red bean sesame balls are very warm and comforting, and the apple pie crispy cake rolls are so good (we got them with ice cream). I've also loved the cocktails I've ordered here (they are pretty pricey though, so skip if you want to save a buck). Their soup dumplings are really yummy, but you only get three little tiny ones so don't order them thinking they can replace an entree! However, they are a nice little appetizer (ask them to bring chili oil so you can amp up the flavor of your pho and your soup dumplings). If you want to be really full, get the pho, it's a pho place! Oh and I almost forgot to mention, the staff are very nice!
Had the deluxe vegan pho, it was delicious! It had tofu, vegan ham, mushrooms, cabbage, and other things in it, was very hearty. Their menu was clearly labeled, it had markings for vegan and vegetarian options. Service was fast and friendly! Looking forward to trying more from them!
Clean place. Friendly staff. Variety of food and drinks to choose. However, they need to be more mindful with their sandwiches when it comes to adding jalapeños. Not everyone likes them so they should ask the guest if they prefer jalapenos in it when taking o order.
If you're looking for a heavy dinner I suggest you to try the Mongolian plate, It's the bomb! One thing I suggested to be improved is to be mindful during lunch hours. Most people have limited time and the staff shall think about when to give the receipt .
UPDATE: The dinner has been renovated and it looks gorgeous. They added new dishes to the menu and I tried one of them. It was delicious! I recommend it. Don't get intimidated by the size of the dish, it's worth the price to pay. I suggest you to try it. The new image of the place is awesome and the customer service keep rocking. I give beyond 5 stars to this place.
Not sure what the hype is all about. We ordered the beef combo pho, a banh mi, wonton soup, charsiu BBQ steamed buns, turnip cakes, and the creme brulee. The pho was 7/10, the banh mi was very good (8/10) but also very small, the wonton soup was 7/10, the turnip cakes were not good at all (2/10), and the creme brulee was pretty good but too small to be worth the money. I also arrived at the time my order was supposed to be ready, but had to wait another 10 mins or so. Finally, the woman who gave me my order was not the most friendly person I've encountered recently. I'll try the other pho places in the area before deciding whether to return here.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was great, restaurant was clean, our server was friendly and polite and all our food came out on time. The food was very tasty. The menu had some interesting options, but we played it safe since it was our first time there. We ordered thee street food egg and it was very tasty. We also ordered the chicken curry puffs, which only one of us loved. We also ordered the grilled Bahn mi, lemongrass beef vermicelli, birds nest beef and grilled pork plate. All were very tasty. Can't wait to go back and try some other options.
