Oh my goodness, this place is amazing! We had lunch here before the Heights Home tour. Super friendly employees and the food was so good! I got the smoked salmon with avocado on a baguette. Everything was so fresh, and the bread was crunchy and delicious!!! We will return!
Adorable restaurant/ coffee spot nestled in the Heights neighborhood. If you visit on a weekend you’ll find an equal mix of people enjoying a sit down meal and those sipping lattes with their laptops open. A very chill atmosphere with lots of natural lighting and comfortable seating options. They had a massive and unique coffee menu - I ordered the tiramisu latte which I thought was definitely heavy on the strips and tasted really artificial, but it wasn’t bad. Their plain cortado was much better in my opinion. Their food was delicious and came out hot and fast. The pain perdu (French toast) is apparently their most famous dish, and I understand why. I would definitely come here again, and if you have the time after I recommend going for a walk through the beautiful neighborhood afterward.
Great service and friendly staff. This was our first time here and the staff were very helpful with recommendations.
The food was excellent and the setting is very nice. Take your time enjoy the ambiance!
First time here, great drip and splendid avocado toast, I'll bring the missus here.
Went back the next day for a spot on Salmon Benedict and my son's French toast (it tasted like the most awesome pancake ever).
Coffe was decent. Pastries selection was lackluster and didn't look that intriguing. Will update once I get to try the food as I only got coffe and pastries my first time but the sandwiches did sound good. Staff was not super friendly or inviting but not bad at all. Plenty of parking and seating inside. Looks quite nice inside as well
Wonderful restaurant. We loved their open concept kitchen where you can see them using fresh ingredients. Everything was delicious and food looking.
Their coffee was delicious. Mine Vanilla Latte was the best I ever had. My wife’s Cappuccino was also really good.
This place is great for spending time and enjoying lunch or dinner, but not so much for breakfast. As someone who loves coffee, I was disappointed that you have to pay for each cup.
Cute place for a brunch/lunch. A lot of French pastries and baguettes/sandwiches. And few pasta choices.
I had fettuccini with salmon - was delicious!
No Outdoor seating though
This is such a quiet and quaint restaurant. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, but not in a sterile way. The staff is very kind and always helpful.
Their bread is absolutely delicious and so are their fries. I also really enjoyed the Chai tea.
Easily the best meal we had in Houston. The service was friendly, the environment is comfortable and fun, and the food was a culinary experience. Their salmon Benedict was probably the closest I’ve come to a meal from Paris since I went last. Also the Americano was more European and American in the best way.
Will definitely be coming back any time we’re in Houston.
