One of my favorite places to go to. Chill enough where you can talk to the person next you you, but also hype enough to party and drink 'til you can't drink anymore. Awesome cozy location, cool outdoor area and Hello! Volleyball courts! All around great place to hang with friends. Definitely my go to spot.
We went on a slow night, which I like. The beer on tap was great . We sat outside at a personal fire pit . I’m giving it 5 stars for how nice and intimate the back patio was.
I loved this place! The vibe was fun, atmosphere was enjoyable, very cool to watch volleyball games, and a great experience. I really liked the food too, I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and thought it was yummy. Service was very kind. They also had billiards and corn hole in addition to the sand volleyball courts. I’d highly recommend this place! I will return and am glad this place is here in Houston.
Many of my friends know Wakefield Crowbar for their huge Sand Volleyball area outside, however for me it’s the Official Minnesota Vikings Fan Club in Houston to catch all Vikings games & a Great place to watch all sports! With all the screens they have on including the very cool New ones in their Sports Room & the projection in the main bar, you can easily watch several games at once. Perfect for a Sports Nut like me.
I love the beer selection that includes some of my Favorite Wheat Beers, the Brunch Options, Pizza & Jucy Lucy Slider Burgers too. The Staff & Management always does their best to take care of us & create the best possible game Watching Party experience! Thanks WC!
I'm from out of town , this place was an awesome hangout with friends. Amazing to see a space dedicated to sport , children and adult recreation. The beers were fresh and cold, my friends and I had a blast. Love from Canada and India.
My experience could not have been better with Wakefield Crowbar. Tristen went above and beyond to help me plan a baby shower for my cousin. I am not from the area so she helped me envision the space and even gave recommendations for things outside of their business. I was beyond impressed leading up to the day of our party and then the day of was also just as amazing. Joey really made sure we were taken care of. A few times we wanted the music shut off and boom, he was there to do it. The food was fantastic, on time, and worked out perfectly. The bartenders were great, quick and attentive. Our event ended at 730pm and the service didn't stop there, Joey made sure I was always being taken care of for the rest of the night. I was truly blown away! It was an amazing night and my cousin felt the love!! Highly recommend for any of your event needs.

Bring your own ball. Decent parking lot but a bit tricky to get there because of construction.
Indoor and outdoor sitting. Dogs allowed but not in the courts.
Worth to visit to go to play some volleyball.

Joey the AGM is so kind. His staff, especially Katy, is attentive, fast, and efficient. Excellent customer service. The DJ Christian plays great music and does fun trivia! Specials for educators! you can’t go wrong!
Great place to play sand volleyball, cornhole. Hang out with friends and is very kids friendly. Staff is very friendly. They have great mimosas.

The staff was very friendly especially the Manager Joey and the Cook. They were very accommodating. We will most definitely visit again.
Threw a surprise Birthday party here for my lovely lady, and she loved it! Atmosphere was great, food was bomb, and drinks were strong. Our server was on top of her game! She made sure we were well taken care of. They blocked off a part of the outdoor section for just us. Really helped make it a special evening for my partner. Recommend the boneless wings, we had a mixture of several flavors, and all of them were amazing! We pretty much had all the drinks, no complaints at all. Thank you Wakefield Crowbar!
