Definitely the BEST fried fish in the area!
I received wonderful service at this location; I was greeted the moment I walked in, offered extra condiments without asking, and thanked as I walked out the door. I will be spreading the word about this little hidden gem.
Oh yeah - with Tiff's Treats right down the sidewalk you get a great lunch/dinner and dessert all on one trip. What more could you possibly need?!
The customer service was great and the food was awesome. I had a party of 5 and we have the shrimp, beef and chicken po'boy and loved it. This was my first time having po'boy so I went with the conservative 6". Big mistake! I craved more. Was a little disappointed the crocodile po'boy wasn't available but then learnt it was a seasonal dish. Overall, loved it.
Loved the ambience of the place. Ordered the BBQ Shrimp PoBoy and Crawfish Bisque and it was different. I was expecting actual BBQ sauce but it was more of a BBQ season and it was exceptionally delicious. The Bisque was good but the consistency was loose. I am use to a thicker Bisque but overall it was tasty!! Friendly Cashier, she even did a follow up visit to all patrons dining in to ask how was their meal. Kuddos!!
**Breadpudding is HUGE (very generous portion for it's price). Definitely could have had extra drizzle on it. Love the candied Pecans! Ice cream on top.. Yum!
Friendly staff, chicken sausage gumbo and boudin ball is great. They are going to have crawfish boil soon.
First time here and my oh my was it a treat. The shrimp basket was to die for! Great seasoning and awesome atmosphere. And let's not forget the top notch service which left me giving this place a well deserved 5 Stars. They might be new, but with everything going right that I experienced today, they will sure be a household name here in Houston. A must try for everyone who loves Authentic New Orleans Sandwiches!
It was AMAZING!!! I love lousiana cuisine but actual authentic tasting Louisiana cuisine is few and far between around Houston. Nola Po Boys IS THE PLACE TO EAT!!! Everything tasted great and AUTHENTIC to what I think Louisiana cuisine should taste like. The staff was very friendly and outgoing to make our experience enjoyable.. I can only give it 5 stars or I would give it more. I told them how much we loved it and he told me they are building one around the corner from our house very soon... Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this place.!!! Are you there yet???
The debris is better than Mother's in the actual NOLA. The BBQ shrimp is authentic and delicious. All of the food is made even better by the excellent, down home service. We'll definitely be back!
I'm so full. Now, I can't speak as to the authenticity cause I ain't from New Orleans, but damn it was good. Had a 12" spicy fried shrimp poboy dressed and smothered with remoulade and some boudin balls. Food was great and the service was outstanding. It's a little pricy, but worth it.
What an experience. I lucked up on Nola's Po Boy Shop. I was just riding looking for something different to eat. The fried spicy shrimp/fried crawfish poboy was so fresh. The French bread was so light! I shall return to try something else from the menu!
I love the bbq shrimp poboy. I typically order a crawfish bisque as well so I can pour some on my poboy which they call a "who dat". The bisque has been amazing all times except my most recent order which is why I took just one star. The crawfish tails were odd colors with an interesting taste. Either substitute crawfish or just bad ones idk. I did not get sick so its no huge deal but it left a bad taste with me. Literally and figuratively. I WILL go back for my bbq shrimp poboy though. Hands down the best poboy I have had in my life.
