Cannot speak highly enough about the food and management of this place. The food is fresh, flavorful, and fast with a variety of options the whole family will enjoy. Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and the goat cheese salad!
Moreover, the management is second to none. One day, we had an issue where I needed to change my daughters diaper and realized there were no changing stations in the bathroom. I reached out to Maclanes via Facebook and alerted them to this issue.
I received a response within hours stating they would address it immediately, and within a few weeks received another picture of the installed changing station!! This is a restaurant that really cares about their customers and listens to their needs.

Wow Chef Cosmos is really doing his thing at Mclanes! I absolutely loved the food and the wine! The owner was so nice! Sharp dresser!
What a gem of a neighborhood cafe. The chili was flavorful and robust. The Gunslinger burger was excellent and the lemon arugula a nice surprise. Great service from Gary topped off with a Blue Bell homemade vanilla shake and a tableside visit from the owner made for a pleasant Friday night outing. If you are in the Tanglewood and Briargrove area you deserve to treat yourself at Maclane's.
The food was good. I had a burger, and the bun stood up the juicy Patty and didn't get gooey. The fries were kind of bland, but salt took care of that. The ice tea tasted good, not bitter. The atmosphere was relaxed. Thumbs up!
Very clean and crisp atmosphere. Been there three times. Great fried chicken. Burger was above average, but at those prices, I expect just a little more "wow factor". The staff seem very nice. Did I mention the fried chicken?
Ate dinner here tonight. Excellent service and exceptionally clean surroundings. Cheeseburger and fries. Meat was juicy enough to eat with lettuce instead of bun, but bread was too good to pass up. Toasted just right. Fries were skinny and crisp. Perfect. I'll definitely eat here again, esp if it stays as nice and quiet as it was tonight. Only complaint? I wish they had sweet potato fries.
Great burgers and skinny fries. Salads are phenomenal. The dinner menu is different but lunch items are available if you ask, and it’s BYOB for a corkage fee. Chicken fried rib eye is outstanding! Good for families and groups.
Good food. Decent prices. It usually has a quieter atmosphere. I recommend the cheese steak or the 60 40 burger. The onion strings are alright. The fries are a little better.

We came with a party of 11 only an hour before they closed. I felt so bad, but they made accommodations for us, right away, and they never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them at all!!
We had water on our table before I even knew it. The menu was different from what we usually eat, (plant based burgers, tofo, burgers with pineapple and eggs) but everything was delicious!! One person in my party was disappointed with the tofu salad, because he thought it would something different, but the staff offered to make him something else right away!! You just don't see that kind of service anymore.
I had the filet mignon with asparagus, truffle fries, and some kind of tomato side. It was perfect! They even brought out a kids menu that they usually only serve for lunch for my young niece. I tried the burgers and they were excellent...big, thick, and juicy! You could tell they were fresh. My sister-in-law had the shrimp and grits and was loved it. My mom couldn't stop raving about the soup and burger she had.
To top it off, they offered us 5 free desserts to make up for the food the person didn't care for, and that it took longer than they anticipated. We were there an hour before closing, so I felt like it was our fault for coming in so late and ordering steak, and well done burgers. It was totally unnecessary, but so appreciated!! I tried the chocolate cake, the brownie a la mode, the cheesecake, and a chocolate milkshake and I was BLOWN away....just incredibly delicious!
We were there over an hour after they closed, but the staff never made us feel rushed to leave and was indescribably accommodating, considerate, and just all around outstanding!!
I don't live around there, but if I come back to the area, I will definitely eat here again!
The calamari may have been the best I've ever eaten! And my husband is in love with scallops! Our waitress and Racheal were very attentive and awesome! My husband and I were very impressed and will definitely be returning in the future!
Quiet family atmosphere. Varied menu, all prepared after ordering. Decent parking, but sharing with other businesses can make for congestion at certain times. Entrance/Exit can be testy during heavy traffic. A worthwhile stop...
