We tried this place for dinner while in town visiting family. The service was wonderful. They have the basic Tex-Mex food and some very original dishes. I ordered the burrito which is covered with gravy and tasted fantastic. The Margaritas are delicious and well made, we cannot wait to return. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated right away. Our server helped us find exactly what we wanted to order.
This is a great place to take friends and family for authentic Mexican food. They have an excellent variety of meal choices and the service is A++++!
Highly recommend this family owned and run business!

Wife and I went for a bite and shared a Beer-Rita.
It's really good too... we love Mexican Cervezas, so this a good choice. Been seeing it on the menu for years. Do yourselves a favor a don't wait as long as we did. Ok?
Good food service was spot on too. Mexican food my son and I eat often, out of the 5 places we frequent EL Charro cost Me the most.

Carne asada is very good, cheese enchilada is good as well. Rice and beans were ordinary. My wife liked the beef fajitas, but there was way too much cilantro for our taste. Red picante sauce tasted weird, we didn't care for it at all. Chips were just right, not too thick, but thick enough to hold salsa. Servers were attentive, if not always personable.

Our drinks didn’t get to be half empty before we got refills. Constant great service, delicious food, chips, great red salsa, fizzy soda too. Plenty of seating. Very clean.
I was a bit hesitate to come just because of the reviews, a lot had to do with the service. Naturally, I asked who they recommended, I was told Jorge, he has braces and glasses. He's extremely sweet. He made sure we were taken care of. They had an older gentleman who cleans tables as you go, you did not have to clean your table as you ate, they made sure your table was cleaned and your drinks were filled. I recommend the beef enchiladas, I'm a cheese enchilada type of gal but this place wins with their enchiladas for sure. I liked their queso. Their large is LARGE! Diet coke was strong, that's a big thing for. Their regular coke was not as good. I recommend this spot. It was our first time, and I'll definitely be back. 😊
Walked in with a group of 10. They were very accommodating. The food was good. I had the Enchiladas Verdes. I think the friends I went with are regulars.
I eat here several times a month. Food is always good. Service is excellent. They don't mind large parties of people and separate checks.
