This place is definitely a hidden gem. I've never had Peruvian good, so when my friend recommended it, I was a little bit confused. But me being the food lover I am, I will most likely try anything at least once. And I love Latin foods.
As you can see, my wife, her friend, and I ordered a decent amount of food to really get a good idea of the quality and taste. I can honestly say I was not disappointed with any of it.
Very traditional foods, with flavors to match. You may see reviews about how the empenada is expensive, but the quality of it makes me happy to spend that much. I would definitely order it again. As far as everything else, although it tastes delicious, it is a bit pricey here. I understand that they charge according to the quality of their dishes, but it makes me only want to visit once a year, if that. Will definitely be back for the empenada though!
Found on the way though with family whom is from Peru, so they had to get their fix. I had the fried tempura/ ceviche platter and damn it was good. Toasted corn for the road.
Prices got steep but overall reasonable and worth the cost for the service and food.
Side note they set up very good looking plates.
Overall, great little place.
Ceviche was outstanding. Tried the pick three sampler and it was amazing! Server was very knowledgable and helpful when making our decisions.
Great Peruvian spot! Authentic dishes! Lomo saltado , ceviche, jalea. I will miss it when I move.
Fires were frozen and not fully cooked and not crispy at all. Quality of the meat was good. Location is not good. Service was great.
Really nice place the ceviche mixto and the empanadas were really good! The service it's awesome and the environment it's really nice.
The Empanadas were excellent ( ordered various spinach, beef, Vegetables and Chicken) and so was the ceviche and the Arroz Chifa. I've been to Peru though it was 18 years ago and eaten in very many good Peruvian restaurants in Chicago and Chiapas Mexico! My only slight complaint was the prices $18 for Arroz Chica with Mariscos and there was some extremely loud live music , too loud for the size of the restaurant. The owners were extremely friendly couple. I highly recommend. We drove all the way nearly an hour from Humble near the airport to eat at this place. The flan peruano and the alfafores were excellent too.
Traditional Creamy Chicken! I was back in Lima for the day! Lovely and the service was very fast!
Cozy little restaurant. Looks clean and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the beef empanadas.
Very good food I highly recommend this place.
