We we're looking for somewhere to eat before a game,at the Toyota center... Clean and tidy. We ordered sliders and beers.. food was really good and lots of fries too.. attentive staff.
BAR food with a flare. Good place for lunch, working downtown it was worth a chance and it delivered. The service was quick and friendly and the food exceeded my expectations, will go back for sure.

Great Hang Out/ Happy Hour!!. AWESOME TIME! I went down there with some friends for happy hour! The food was incredible! I had the scorpions which is shrimp with jalapeno wrapped in bacon! YUM!! The The juicy loosey was awesome too! The bun was some sort of sweet jalapeno bun... great! It looked like they had a back room for private parties which was cool. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone!
Good Tex-Mex. I liked the chips and salsa that were brought out when we sat down- very good! They have burgers, mexican, salads. The enchiladas were quite good. I would eat here again!
I really enjoy this place. One of the best veggie burgers I have ever had the way the veggie paddy, the avocado and the bun come together to make such a flavorful combination. Yum. It is also a great place to throw your birthday party plenty of room for people to cone and have fun and next time I am going to try to get their party room it looks so roomy.
This place was good. The burger was definitely cooked to perfection (med) like I requested but I had to place my own condiments on the bun, burger etc.. other than that the kitchen closes at 7:30pm each night. I was in town staying a short distance away at 3 -1/2 seasons hotel so it would have been nice to have dinner each night at the bar instead of spending money on gourmet food from over priced hotels. NOTHING in Houston is open past 4pm it seems. Unless you walk 15 mins away.
The food is amazing, the Tacos Al Pastor, queso blanco and the cast iron skillet cookie sooo good. The service was amazing. Such wonderful staff. Thank you
The blood orange draft is delicious ...and the staff is super friendly ... the jalapeno bombers are phenomenal just the right amount of heat (or lack thereof) ... And they came out super fast ...luckily it was not very crowded when I visited...I will def. return when in the downtown area ...
First time coming to Tejas Grill and Sports Bar. My hubby and I sat at the bar started out with Frozen Margaritas with the Texas Scorpion appetizers which is jumbo shrimp wrapped with bacon and stuffed with monterrey back cheese and jalapenos. Delicious 😋. Then we had the Stuffed Avacado which is two avocado halves stuffed with beef fajita and cheese. We shared them it was so good. Luis was our Bartender he was so nice and helpful. We will be back again.
Best Breakfast Tacos🌮 Ever! Specially with beef fajita meat, those are my favorites. This front area are open for the breakfast area from 6:30am to 10:30am with some chairs available
This place has phenomenal drinks. Great cocktails and beers... Only had so far the nachos with fajita and they were delicious.

Loved this place !! Located in downtown the place offers a great ambience along with delicious food for pretty affordable price. I tried their nachos with guacamole, queso and salsa. They gave me unlimited chips. The servers were highly professional and kept constantly checking Loved their services and their fresh beer. Will definitely visit them again ❤️
I reserved the private dining room here for a group of about 25 people and they had a blast. They said the service was great and the food was delicious (and this is coming from a group of doctors that are more than picky). My thanks to Nancy and the staff at Tejas for all of their service and helpfulness in setting this up for us. I will definitely use this venue again when we return to Houston next year.
