Went there with family on a lazy Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant was not crowded and got up seated very quickly. Waitress provided the kids with picture and crayons to keep them engaged. Took our order and brought us tortilla chips to gobble up on. We ordered the veg enchiladas for us and kids meals with cheese quesadilla and french fries/Mac n cheese. Food took a little longer than expected to arrive. Kids meal included a Blue Bunny ice cream each. Again it took a while for them to bring the ice cream but she didn't bring spoons so she had to go and get the spoon after which took some time as well. Finally we had to wait to get the bill and to get it picked up. The service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was not much crowded. Hope they can provide service a bit faster.
Highly, highly recommend this place. Delicious food, fantastic service, massive portions, and fun atmosphere. This is one of my favorite Tex Mex places in Houston! This location never disappoints and I’m hoping they continue to expand to more locations than they currently have. You won’t be disappointed, from my experience.
Budget Tex-Mex with full experience!
Really doesn’t feel like the huge chain of restaurants it is, I even went to a Chuy’s in Miami. Feels like home; casual, honest. The food isn’t necessarily top notch but it’s tasty and down to Earth. The menu is huge and fun to go through, and with the optional sauces, even the same plate (I got the burrito twice) can be a different experience. They seat you quick, the server comes within seconds with chips, a spicy and fresh salsa, and a delicious creamy sauce. The food never took more than 15 minutes, regardless on how busy the place was. The portions are great. Everything from the steak to the side of rice had a homemade taste. The servers I’ve had were always kind and attentive. There were couples, families with children, huge parties, one-seaters, and they all looked like they fitted in. Best of all, doesn’t hurt the bank.

I have enjoyed eating at this location for many years. Even though it is during the time of covid 19 and they are offering a limited menu, the quality of their food and service is still top notch. The servers remain friendly and upbeat. The food was delicious and they were accommodating in altering one of the items on the limited menu (due to covid) to please me. The restaurant feels cleaner than ever and they are very diligent in their practices of social distancing and maintaining strict cleaning methods.
This was a great experience at this location. We went as a work group size of 10. They treated very well and most enjoyed there meal. The atmosphere is different then most Tex Mex but enjoyable. Happy hour queso is awesome. I asked for a special order and they did a great job. They did give me a small portion excpecailly compared to the giant meals everyone else got. But the server realized it and had manager bring me out more. Very good customer service. I asked for there loaded nachos with beef fajita. Instead of chips though they put the topping on top of fries. I then put there creamy jalapeno sauce on it. It was seriously amazing!!!. They called it the James fries. Good place, fast and enjoyable service. I'll give this place a 5 🌟 rating. Next will be trying the chuychunga with creamy jalapeno sauce on top :)
I had Chuy's catered at work and it was fantastic. I had never been to one physically so this was my first time.

They have their own lot so not a problem at all.

Very funky and random decor. Just really random. Made me feel almost uncomfortable. Even the dining area didn't feel comfortable.

Servers are great. They were attentive and refilled our free chips and salsa. Food came out in a timely manner.

I ordered the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas. Portions are pretty large. I wasn't blown away by it. Maybe I'll try something next time, like their fajitas. Unless you eat a lot, you may end up taking some of your meal home.
My friend ordered the Steak Burrito. She enjoyed it. Huge portion.
I do not fully understand the hype. I'll give it another try someday. People love their Chuy's here.

The best way to describe this place is a delicious place to eat genuine Mexican food. The atmosphere is great and I can see bringing the family, friends, or a date here. I had the custom enchiladas (chicken) covered with tomatillo sauce, some charro beans, and Mexican rice.
This is one of the best maxican restaurant on this street.

The decors are super fun, which is half the reason why I give 4 stars. The food is pretty good as well. I got the stacked enchiladas with the rice. Service is mediocre. Server is not too helpful. My water cup was empty half the time I was dining.
