Great food. Good location. Great place to hang out.
Great neighborhood gem!
We went for Saturday Brunch and it was amazing! Oysters were so fresh and the cheeseburger with the fried egg was excellent! We sat at the bar and had exceptional service!
"Eloise Nichols Grill & Liquors hopes to fill a much needed need in the River Oaks area as a classic neighborhood spot. Nothing over the top or fancy. Just a comfortable place for neighbors to meet, eat, or get a drink and enjoy themselves,” stated co-owner Katie Adair Barnhart"
Favorites:
The Burrata Cheese, served with pink lady apples and the Shrimp & Grits. I heard from little bird that the grits are a secret recipe inspired by the house! Their Fries and Brussles are addictive.
Cocktails:
The Barbara Walters is a crisp Fall cocktail with notes of maple syrup and apple. The Eloise Sour is made with limoncello and served with a foamy, whipped egg white top. I am the president of the limoncello fan club, so this cocktail was the right up my alley. I highly recommend these two cocktails.
As you guys can imagine, I eat out a lot (no judgment please). Sometimes life gets crazy and I am unable to blog about all the places I’ve eaten immediately, so I am currently playing catch up. A few weeks back, a college friend invited me out to dinner. We decided on Eloise Nichols Grill & Liquors because we had both heard great things but had never been! Once I heard that Eloise Nichols was owned by the sibling duo behind Adair, I knew I had to go!

Everything was delicious, and although our server, Alejandro, was very new, he took good care of us as he learned the ropes.
Coffee was great, muffins were too. I ordered my omelette without eggs, sub hash browns, and that always throws them for a loop. But they nailed it.
Lemonade, hot tea, eggs, pancakes, everything we got was fresh and perfectly prepared. It was a great time all around. We’ll be back.
Awesome southern food! Delicious shrimp and grits. Chicken sandwich was good - but not the best - could be more crispy.
Cocktails were delicious. And I loved interior + details. Overall great experience!
Been here several times. The last few times, we’ve been coming in just right after lunch and Andy takes good care of us. Very attentive to us and informative on the menu. We ordered the spirit animal as our cocktail and it came in this pineapple copper container, so cute! It’s also
dangerous cause it just tasted like pineapple juice. Really like the caramelized brussel sprouts, they’re crunchy and the sauce is delicious. I’ve always like the grilled salmon with the roasted beets but I substituted the pesto cauliflower with risotto instead. To be honest, I don’t know what they do with the beets, but I can’t get enough of it. Andy also recommended the chocolate ganache bread pudding because it’s not too heavy, and he was right! it’s pretty good, not too sweet. Will definitely come back to try out more items on their menu!
Cute little grill/bar restaurant in a great area. Came with the girls for a brunch date and had a great time. Atmosphere is bright and warm. The food was absolutely delicious - the egg was perfectly cooked on my salmon, and was very flavorful. Food came out quickly and the server was very attentive.
Loved this place today. So glad we picked this for our Mother’s Day brunch. Every single person in this place was very nice and friendly. We felt so welcomed. Food was great. We ordered the chicken and waffles and veggie omelette. I am so going back to try other things I saw in their menu. Thank you so much for the lovely Mother’s Day brunch.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! Lauren was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The manager also went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. What really stood out to me was their genuine love for dogs – they made our furry friend feel so welcome! The combination of excellent service, a pet-friendly attitude, and delicious food made this visit truly memorable. We can’t wait to return!
Loved this place.
Loved the ambience, food quality & their happy hour pricing is incredible.
They offer variety of foods.
Definitely coming back
Went here for a quick bite to eat. I had the burger on the happy hour menu. It's a smaller version of their regular burger. It was really good. I can't wait to get back here. The service was spot on too.
Upate: Came here for breakfast for the first time. I had the Avocado Toast. It was great! And the service, once again, was spot on.I think I now have a new regular breakfast place.
Delicious Key Lime Pie
I came for the key lime pie and it didn’t disappoint. It was limey and sweet. It’s a bit sweet for me, but that’s ok. The crust is yummy and nutty and the pie is very filling. I’d go here again just for the key lime.
The food is otherwise decent and gets 4 stars.
Absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant building itself was the perfect mood and the decor was on point and I loved the music that kept it lively! I ordered the Eloise burger, and when I tell you this was the best burger I’ve ever had, I’m not lying. My eyes watered when I took the first bite. The drinks were great, the food was amazing, the fries were perfect, and just overall cannot be happier. Our server Victor was great he was timely, polite, concise, and very professional. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
